Months before meeting and falling for Clare, Dale Moss actually revealed in an interview what his perfect match would look like. Along with what type of woman he was looking for – and yes, it does sound a lot like Clare – he also shared the type of man he is and his definition of romance. We’re calling it now, this season of The Bachelorette is definitely going to be the most dramatic yet. Recent news revealed that halfway through filming Clare’s journey to finding love, the lead had already given out her final rose. Dale has been announced as the contestant who stole Clare’s heart basically since night one of production. Of course, Bachelor Nation wants to know more about this oh-so-handsome stud. Thankfully, an old interview allowed fans to get a glimpse of who Dale Moss is and what he looks for in the women he dates.
Dale's interview, conducted by MaleRoom and uncovered by Cosmopolitan, took place in October, before it was announced that he was going to be a contestant on the upcoming season of The Bachelorette. In the interview, Dale is asked a variety of different questions about himself, finding love, and – most importantly – who would be his ideal match. On the type of man he is, he reveals, "I'm all about handling business, having fun, and if you can't laugh, I think you're losing." As for how he would define romance, he says, "I think romance is a little bit of vulnerability, to be honest. You have to be willing to fail, but also I think sometimes you have to say, 'Screw it,' and take a chance. [...]”
Lastly, Dale revealed the qualities of his perfect match. He said, "There definitely has to be attraction, and you get that feeling like 'Damn, is she out of my league? Like, is she too much for me?' I meet a lot of women who, on the outside, you would think I would get that feeling, but the substance or some of the other things might not be there, and at the end of the day when you're in a room...if you have energy, you carry yourself with confidence, and you connect and have a conversation, you can see into their soul, you can really get a good feel."
So, it looks like Dale Moss definitely found his perfect match with Clare Crawley. She is by far one of the most confident Bachelorettes. Who else remembers her standing up to the controversial Juan Pablo? It's possible that this pair is truly a match made in heavven.
