From the moment Clare Crawley saw Dale Moss step out of the limo on her first night as The Bachelorette, the two have shared several cringe-worthy moments together. Not only did they have a few embarrassing moments together on the show, but it continued on into their real lives.
Before the news of Clare and Dale's unfortunate breakup, the former couple seemed to be madly in love when they appeared on the ABC reality series this past fall. Clare's breath was taken away when Dale stepped out of the limo on night one. Longtime host Chris Harrison even had to make sure that Clare was okay once Dale made his way inside the house. Since the moment they met, Clare was not afraid to show Dale he was the one she wanted. This caused the couple to have a few cringe-worthy moments throughout the season.
Their First Meeting
Clare and Dale's first "cringey" moment occurred as soon as he stepped out of the limo on The Bachelorette. Clare was taken aback by how handsome and sweet he was, leading her to get just a little too excited. After he left Clare to go inside, she prematurely admitted that she felt Dale was her future husband. Admitting such strong feelings before a relationship even begins is more than just cringe-worthy... it's embarrassing.
The Men Roasting Dale
During The Bachelorette roast group date, several of the men got up to the podium to air their grievances towards Dale. This made Clare extremely mad, causing her to feel a type of way towards the other guys. She later revealed to a producer off-camera that the men "dished on my fiancé so hard." Again, Clare is moving too fast in her relationship with Dale leading the audience to once again feel second-hand embarrassment from her.
Their Engagement
When Clare finally decided that Dale was the one for her, the show allowed the couple to have some alone time together to get to know each other better. After sharing an intimate dinner and spending the night together, Dale got down on one knee and proposed. Knowing these two had only known each other for two weeks made this whole proposal cringe-worthy.
Clare Wanting Babies
One of the most cringe-worthy moments - not only between Clare and Dale but in the entirety of Bachelor history - was their sit down with Chris Harrison after getting engaged. As Chris was asking what was next for the couple, Clare quickly interrupted Dale and exclaimed "babies!" It was obvious that Dale was not ready to speak on that topic and was clearly caught off guard.
Fans will no longer have to suffer through cringe-worthy moments with Clare and Dale as he announced earlier this week that the pair have split. With cheating allegations and rumors of Clare causing a wedge between him and his family, this break-up may have been for the best.
