Connor Brennan came into Katie Thurston's season of The Bachelorette dressed as the "Catman", and some fans are appreciating his bold move. In fact, Katie herself made waves on the premiere of Matt James' season of The Bachelor for walking in holding a purple vibrator, claiming that it had helped her during the pandemic.
In fact, it was Katie Thurston's unfiltered and down-to-earth personality, as well as her very kind but also straightway way of dealing with conflict on the show, that got so many fans to like and campaign for her to become the next lead of The Bachelorette. Nonetheless, no one could have predicted back then that so many developments were still to follow, including Chris Harrison's dramatic exit as the host of the show and the unexpected announcement that 2021 would have two whole new seasons of The Bachelorette. Connor Brennan may have entered The Bachelorette season 17 as the "Catman", but he is actually a 29-year-old eighth-grade math teacher, spin instructor, instrumentalist, and songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee. According to his own description, Connor B.'s ideal woman is one who is "genuine, king, socially-accepting, and open-minded." He has also revealed that he enjoys going all out when it comes to taking a girl on a date, and will go as far as thinking of a theme and taking her to multiple different locations, if necessary. Connor B. also said that his one dealbreaker is when a person doesn't respect waiters, because "there is no place for any bullying in his life." So it sounds like he watched Matt James' season!
On Connor Brennan's Instagram, he regularly shares pictures of himself playing a variety of different instruments, such as piano, guitar, ukulele, banjo, and accordion. Connor's IG grid also includes various pictures of himself with friends and family members, as well as posts of him at work - whether that is teaching a math class or a spin class. On the Instagram page, Connor is currently promoting his latest EP, which includes songs like "rough draft", "mean boy", "dead to me", and "shelf life".
One thing is very certain: if Connor Brennan doesn't win Katie Thurston's season of The Bachelorette, he seems like a shoo-in for a second season of The Bachelor Presents: Listen To Your Heart. For now, however, let's see how far Connor B. will make it on Katie's season.
