Clare Crawley from The Bachelorette is having a tough time dealing with the backlash she is getting for all the show's changes.

Clare's journey to find love began this summer at the La Quinta Resort & Club in Palms Springs. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, production was unable to give Clare a normal season at the Bachelor mansion, and had to forego any trips abroad for the final few contestants. Even though Clare was not getting the usual Bachelorette experience, she was still excited to begin the process of finding her future husband. Now that she fell for one of her suitors faster than expected, some changes had to be made in order to give the fans a proper season.

According to Us WeeklyDeAnna Pappas, a former Bachelorette lead, revealed in a podcast episode of Almost Famous with Ashley Iaconetti and Ben Higgins how Clare has been coping with the changes being made on the show. "She’s just been put through the ringer, and the things that people are saying about her and about her life and stuff online can just be really hurtful," DeAnna explained. “On most days, she’s feeling really down about the things that people are saying about her online and the editing of the show...Whatever the outcome is tomorrow night, she’s going to walk away and she’s gonna be able to move on and hopefully have someone that she genuinely loves.” The comments that have been made towards Clare online are usually in regards to the way she has been treating the other men on her season and how most fans cannot wait for Tayshia Adams to finally take on the roll.

Since Clare was announced as this year's Bachelorette, she has hit many roadblocks on her journey. First, it was production being shut down due to coronavirus. Then, she left the show early after falling in love with contestant Dale Moss. This caused production to bring on Tayshia as her replacement. Although, some might say that is not exactly how things went down at the resort. There have been rumors going around that Clare was actually forced out of the role of Bachelorette so production could bring in Tayshia. Reports have speculated that, after Clare started to take a strong liking to Dale, production decided to think ahead and replace her with Tayshia. While these reports have not been confirmed, this does seem like something the production team would do.

How will Clare feel once Tayshia begins her journey as the Bachelorette? Fans will have to wait and see as the show progresses.
