There are many rumors about The Bachelorette season 16 going around that Clare Crawley is being replaced by Tayshia Adams halfway through the season. Now, Clare seems to be confirming this rumor by liking a slew of tweets this past weekend referring to the switch up.

The Bachelor Nation fans were first introduced to Clare when she appeared as a contestant on Juan Pablo's season of The Bachelor. During that season, Clare quickly became a fan-favorite when she told off Juan Pablo during the final rose ceremony, which is when he decided she wasn't the one for him. The way she was able to stand up to Juan Pablo had many Bachelor fans rallying behind her. In 2020, Clare was announced as the new lead of The Bachelorette. Now that Clare's time has come, however, it doesn't seem like her season will be a straight line.

On Saturday, October 24, Clare Crawley was spotted liking several tweets that implied she was forced to leave The Bachelorette instead of quitting the show. One of the liked tweets read, “I think they were trying to force her out on some real.” The tweet also mentioned that Clare was given a bad edit and seemed like they were steering her in the direction of leaving. “They are feeding into the narrative and the rumors and making it seem like it was Clare’s decision that this ended and I feel like that’s not the case. They had Tayshia quarantined 9 days after Clare started filming. They wanted to remove Clare. And I just don’t think it’s fair,” the fan said in the end. Fans also wondered if producers planned for Clare to be sent home early. One fan tweeted out, "They’ve never had a lead just ‘quit’ and with how excited and how bad Clare wanted this, I doubt it. They were ready with a back up and as soon as they found out that Clare was into Dale it was a wrap.” It seems to be a consensus building up among the fans of the show that producers wanted Clare out so they could bring on Tayshia instead.

Clare also liked a tweet that refuted the claims that she and Dale had spoken to each other before The Bachelorette began filming. The tweet read, “The rumors of them talking beforehand are false. I rather believe Clare and Dale’s sister when they said there was no contact,” Even though Clare did admit that suitor Blake Moynes reached out to her during the quarantine to check up on her, she never reached out to any of the contestants herself. Clare didn't want to have any preconceived notions of anyone before the show had begun filming. Back in August, it was confirmed that Tayshia Adams had replaced Clare as the lead on The Bachelorette.

As of this writing, ABC has yet to confirm whether or not Tayshia will replace Clare on The Bachelorette. However, it is certainly telling that Clare is already liking certain tweets challenging the narrative of the show.
