A few days back, The Bachelorette contestant Dale Moss announced his breakup from fiancée Clare Crawley. Many fans were predicting the separation, but it happened sooner than expected. It also didn't appear to be a mutual break-up, as Clare suggested she was blindsided. Since the split, Dale has been acting quite normal, whereas Clare appears to be completely shocked and "crushed."

Clare and Dale met while filming The Bachelorette season 16 in July 2020. As soon Dale stepped out of the limo, Clare was convinced that he would be her husband. After 12 days of dating the ex NFL player, Clare refused to date any other men. She told Chris Harrison that she was in love with him. Since the feelings were mutual, the couple quickly got engaged. They left the resort and kept their engagement a secret until it aired on the show in November 2020. After that, Clare and Dale went house hunting in Sacramento, Calif. They also visited Dale's hometown in Sioux Falls, S.D. But, their most recent visit to Dale's hometown proved to be ill-fated. Upon returning, the former athlete took to his Instagram and wrote that he and Clare had "decided to go our separate ways."

After the break-up, many The Bachelorette viewers started closely watching the ex-couple's social media activity. The 39-year-old hairstylist Clare was "genuinely invested" in the relationship, so she was certainly devastated. In contrast, Dale appeared to be back to his party boy lifestyle. He was recently seen hanging out with one of his buddies on the New York City streets. When paparazzi asked about the break-up, he replied with a smile, "Clare and I will be cool." It didn't seem like he was as emotional as Clare. He also shared a few funny Bernie Sanders "grumpy chic" memes on his Instagram, suggesting that he has moved on and is hardly thinking about Clare, who deals with "severe anxiety." He also posted a fun, happy Instagram story with his sister and said, "So my sister messaged me and said she had a package waiting for me downstairs. Popped up and surprised me. Hey, always. Family."

Although everybody deals with a break-up differently, Dale appears extremely happy in most of his social media posts. Looking at his post-breakup pictures, it seems like he was using The Bachelorette for fame and to advance his career. He did appear uncomfortable with how fast things were moving with his ex, so maybe it's good that he is in charge of his life now. Let's hope that Clare recovers from this loss soon and finds her soulmate.
