Mykenna Dorn, who appeared on Peter Weber's season of The Bachelor, was reportedly talking to Greg Grippo before he went on The Bachelorette. The last fans saw of Mykenna was on the Women Tell All for Peter's season. Even though she didn't get the pilot's final rose, she did receive quite the following afterward. As for Greg, the fans are still divided about whether or not he was genuine with his feelings for Katie Thurston.

Greg's time on the ABC series did not end well for him as Katie accused him of "gaslighting" her following their intense breakup a week before the final. The 28-year-old explained to Katie how he sensed his feelings were being dismissed by her, and she wasn't giving him any validation on their relationship. Ultimately, Greg left the show as he couldn't handle the competition anymore.

An insider exclusively told Us Weekly that Mykenna was supposedly talking to Greg before he went on The Bachelorette. "Mykenna and Greg used to talk last summer," the source revealed. "They really hit it off, but long distance came in the way." Greg was reportedly "talking" to the former Bachelor contestant for about a month before their relationship began to cool off. The insider noted that Mykenna and Greg never met in person due to her residing in Vancouver and him in New Jersey. The pair even liked several of each other's Instagram posts in early 2020, solidifying their long-distance romance. While it is unclear how they got into contact with each other, it sounds like Greg liked what he saw on TV and slid into the DMs.

Bachelorette Greg Grippo

Mykenna appeared on the ABC reality series in early 2020 for Peter Weber's season, while Greg was a front-runner on Katie's most recent season. Greg did not receive Katie's final rose as the two got into a fight over her reaction to him saying "I love you" during his hometown date. After expressing his feelings to her, she simply replied, "I just love looking at you." Greg didn't like her response and self-eliminated himself from the show. Katie went on to get engaged to Blake Moynes, who also appeared on the Clare Crawley/Tayshia Adams season the year prior. The Bachelorette may not have been the show for Greg as he was approached more than once to appear on the show. He revealed on an episode of the Viall Files podcast that he was initially offered spots on both Becca Kufrin's and last year's season of the reality series.

Now that The Bachelorette's Katie is engaged to Blake, Greg is free to give a relationship with Mykenna a real try. Who knows, maybe Bachelor in Paradise season 8 will bring these two former lovebirds back together.
