Kaitlyn Bristowe is revealing the advice she gave upcoming Bachelorette, Katie Thurston, and her thoughts on this season's group of men. The former lead will be joined by Tayshia Adams as the new cohosts of the show, replacing Chris Harrison, who has been the host since The Bachelor aired in 2002. Kaitlyn and Tayshia will be taking on a slightly different role than Chris, as the ladies plan on being there for Katie if she ever needs advice or a shoulder to lean on.

The 35-year-old was introduced to Bachelor Nation in 2014 when she vied for Chris Soules' heart of his season of The Bachelor. She made it to the top four before he decided to send her home. A few weeks later, she and fellow contestant Britt Nilsson, were both named The Bachelorette for season 11. However, the men decided on the first night who they wanted to stay and be The Bachelorette, and who they wanted to go home. Kaitlyn won and fell in love with Shawn Booth by the end. However, she and Shawn broke up three years later, and she has been dating Jason Tartick for the last two years.

In an exclusive interview with HollywoodLife, Kaitlyn opened up about the advice she gave Katie during the season and her thoughts on her group of suitors. She added, "Be authentic to who you are. There’s a lot of pressure from the world watching, and a lot of times you get in your head ... It has to be truly authentic to yourself and how you’re feeling." Besides giving Katie sound advice on how to navigate her season, Kaitlyn also spilled on what she thought of Katie's guys.

However, Kaitlyn was not living in close quarters with her men, so she going off of the few conversations she had with them. From what she could gather, the guys all seemed like "really stand-up gentlemen." She may like Katie's men for now, but her opinion might change once the season premieres in June. "Well, I say that, but I could watch it back and go, ‘OH!'" Kaitlyn admitted. Nonetheless, Katie seemed to get along with most of the men there, and Kaitlyn is hopeful Katie found her person.

Overall, Kaitlyn is excited for the viewers to watch Katie's season once it premieres on June seventh. Not only does Katie have a great group of guys, but she has Kaityln and Tayshia by her side to help her navigate her way through the season. Kaitlyn, and the rest of America, are hopeful Katie will find her person on her journey as The Bachelorette.
