Andi Dorfman, the former lead of The Bachelorette who had been enjoying the single life for the past few years, writing books and inspiring women to be the best version of themselves, has finally gone public with her new boyfriend, Blaine Hart. Due to the nature of her public figure status, Andi had been asked for years when she was going to start dating again. Now, she doesn't have to deflect the question.

No one can blame Andi for taking her time finding the right man. She first dated Juan Pablo Galavis, who turned out to be a not-so-good guy, and then chose Josh Murray on her season, who ended up being a much worse guy. In the years since, Andi has stayed publicly single, swatting away dating rumors anytime they came for her. In the meantime, she has become a two-time New York Times Best Seller and inspired women around the globe to begin their cardio journey with her hashtag-turned-fitness brand Andorfins. In November, Andi posted an Instagram photo with a mystery man who was wearing an Atlanta hat. She captioned the photo, "Forever an ATL gal" with a heart emoji, indicating she'd found her man.

Andi, who was living in New York City before moving to Los Angeles more than a year ago, finally revealed who her mystery boyfriend was on New Year's Eve. Sharing a photo of her and Blaine Hart kissing at The Breakers Palm Beach in Florida, she wrote, "By far my favorite thing from 2021" with another heart emoji. Andi added another picture with her man the next day, spreading hope for an even better 2022.

While The Bachelor franchise emphasizes engagement and marriage, former leading women like Kaitlyn Bristowe, JoJo Fletcher and Andi Dorfman have proven that women don't need to be in a rush to get married. Men are often afforded the latitude, except perhaps by their mothers, to wait until they're in their mid-30s before settling down, while society places more pressure on women to marry earlier so they can start a family.

Andi has reminded viewers of The Bachelorette that while getting engaged and married is exciting to plan for, it's worth waiting until finding the right man to do that. The former attorney moved on from two bad relationships to chart a new path for her life and motivate countless others to live their best lives. She is clearly happier because she met Blaine, but she's proven women don't need a man to find happiness.
