Aaron Clancy wasn't afraid to speak his mind during the premiere episode of Katie Thurston's season of The Bachelorette. The fans usually don't expect to see any drama happening so early into a new Bachelor Nation season. More often than not, however, there will always be a few guys who'll manage to stir up the pot and start some confrontation. But given that these fights can ultimately lead up to someone getting eliminated on night one, the stakes are high.
The Bachelorette season 17 premiere featured a very sudden confrontation between Aaron Clancy and Cody Menk. During the episode, Aaron appeared to go up to Cody seemingly out of nowhere to announce that he never liked him and that they didn't have to talk to each other at all while filming the show. At first, Cody seemed to kind of know where Aaron was coming from. In his confessional interview, however, Cody looked puzzled and said that he had no idea what Aaron was talking about.
Now that Aaron Clancy has gotten the attention of The Bachelorette fans, they certainly want to learn more about him. Aaron is 26 years old and lives in San Diego, California. Curiously, Cody is also from San Diego, which could perhaps have something to do with their little feud on night one. Nonetheless, Aaron works as an insurance agent, and dreams of having his own business someday. As an NCAA swimmer, Aaron's hobbies include anything sporty, including surfing and working out. Overall, Aaron thinks a lot about the legacy he'll be leaving behind, and hopes that Katie is the partner that can help him achieve his dreams.
A quick scroll through Aaron Clancy's Instagram profile makes it clear that he loves going to the beach, doing some heavy lifting, and being surrounded by his close friends. But don't be fooled - a lot of guys say that they love the beach but have nowhere as many pictures on the beach as Aaron does. The point being, Aaron really loves being close to the ocean, so let's hope that Katie fits into that lifestyle. As of this writing, Aaron only has about 3,000 followers on Instagram, but that follower count will probably grow a lot if Katie keeps him around long enough.
Hopefully, Cody - and the fans - will get to learn more about what happened between him and Aaron in the coming episodes of The Bachelorette season 17. These two San Diego dudes will have to hash things out in front of the cameras now that they've chosen to pursue Katie at the same time.
