Warning! Spoilers for The Bachelorette season 16 below!

The Bachelorette season 16 has been engulfed in multiple controversies so far. Be it the show’s lead Clare Crawley’s early exit, her rumored relationship with Dale Moss, or even the TikTok allegations about Yosef Aborady, the drama in this season is serious. Adding to the mix of controversies The Bachelorette is already embroiled in, is another contestant Uzoma “Eazy” Nwachukwu. Here’s how the “serious allegations” against Eazy might affect his scenes on the show’s upcoming episodes with Tayshia Adams.

Since his appearance in the first episode of The Bachelorette season 16, Eazy became a fan-favorite. While the outcome of Clare’s stint on the season was known to some, they still had hopes that maybe Tayshia would give Eazy a chance. Even Chris Harrison predicted that Eazy will be liked by many, and the 29-year-old former NFL player proved him right from the get-go. A Texas resident, Eazy was a wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans, and Seattle Seahawks. He has called himself the “total package” and a “hopeless romantic.” However, with the abuse accusations that have surfaced against Eazy, will he be able to survive on the ABC show any further?

Always a reliable source for The Bachelor and Bachelorette spoilers, Reality Steve spoke about the sports marketing agent having some “serious allegations” made against him. While Steve didn’t elaborate on the allegations that arose via social media, he did claim to have spoken to the woman involved who was triggered by watching Eazy on the show. “Not good. I’ll leave it at that,” Steve proclaimed. Later, Steve added that he had spoken to the legal team on The Bachelorette and “told them everything” about this woman’s prior experience with Eazy, "So now the show is 100% aware of allegations against him." A Reddit thread shows the since-deleted tweets where the lady hints that Eazy has allegedly taken “advantage of women without their consent.”

Bachelorette Clare Crawley and Eazy

According to Steve, the next episode of The Bachelorette that airs on November 5 should have the production team “edit him out.” Eazy has been given a comedic edit so far, which is likely to be affected. But the source also states that production, "can’t completely edit Eazy out of the episodes because the show is already in the can and he was physically there.” For example, it could be difficult to chop his bits out of a group date shot, yet Steve expects ABC to start showing lesser of Eazy episode four onward, depending on how seriously they take the woman’s allegations. And in case Eazy has made it to the final four with Tayshia, the task of editing him out of his scenes, with the other suitors or otherwise, gets even more difficult.

If the allegations about Uzoma also get addressed by The Bachelorette’s production publicly, he could be shown the door very soon. Steve has mentioned that the woman has not pressed charges, neither does she wish to in the future, but the ball now lies in the producers’ court.
