Victoria Fuller spilled the tea on her relationship with former Bachelor Chris Soules on The Viall Files podcast. Sounds like farm living was not for her.

Chris Soules was first seen on Andi Dorfman’s season of The Bachelorette in 2014. He went on to be the next Bachelor. He picked Whitney Bischoff as his winner, but the two split shortly after the show’s finale. Victoria was a contestant on the last season of The Bachelor featuring Peter Weber. She was eliminated in third place behind Hannah Ann Sluss and Madison Prewett. Victoria’s behavior on the show was somewhat controversial, and she was known as the show’s villain. Her previous run-ins with the law--numerous unpaid speeding tickets and a DUI--were exposed while she was on The Bachelor as well. Chris’ highly publicized DUI had fans thinking that the two might be a good match.

On this week's episode of The Viall Files podcast, Victoria announced that she and Chris have officially split after four months of dating, reports US Weekly. She confirmed their relationship with an Instagram post in April, captioned, “Farm Life,” and tagged in Arlington, Iowa, where Chris lives. She appeared on Nick Viall’s The Viall Files this week to say that the couple has called it quits. “We went in a separate direction, but like, I respect him so much and I think he’s an amazing man,” she told Nick Viall. “I just think that right now, I’m in a different place than he is.” Victoria added that she and Chris still talk, but that she wouldn’t be ready to commit to him for a couple of years. “I’m not moving to Iowa anytime soon,” she said, “so I just want to focus on me.” Chris told Us Weekly in December 2019 that he was looking for the one, which explains why the couple decided to call off their relationship. “I’m getting old enough to learn that it’s just about, like, when it’s time, it will occur,” he said to US Weekly. At 38, he is much older than 26-year-old Victoria.

The couple did show some signs of getting serious. They were quarantined together for a month at Chris’ farm in Arlington, Iowa and met each other’s families. Victoria met Chris’ family in Iowa, and then the two traveled to Virginia Beach to meet up with Victoria’s family. At the time, a source said the couple looked “genuinely happy,” while visiting Victoria’s family at the Leaping Lizard Cafe in Virginia Beach in June. Fans thought the pair seemed like it might work, due to Victoria and Chris’ similarities, but they certainly have their differences as well. “I’m not a farmer, but I know a lot about f--king corn now,” Victoria joked on the podcast. She continued, “It’s complicated, but at the same time, I’m just living my life. He is an amazing man who deserves somebody super awesome who’s willing to go to Iowa and live in Iowa right now.” Bachelor alum Kelsey Weir actually introduced the couple, but she lives in Iowa. Could there be something there?

Victoria and Chris’ relationship may be over for now, but the two seem compatible and open to dating in the future. We’ll just have to see if Chris will choose Victoria to have his rose.
