Reality Steve is reporting that Heather Martin, from Colton Underwood's season of The Bachelor, will make an appearance on Matt James' season in 2021. And, apparently, Hannah Brown is the person behind these shenanigans.

During Colton's The Bachelor season, Heather Martin made it to the final six before she eliminated herself. She had an interesting back story: she had never been kissed. But she did get her first-ever kiss with Colton on the show. 25-year-old Heather has been modeling and doing Instagram sponsorships since being on the show. She is close friends with former The Bachelorette star Hannah Brown and other contestants like Hannah Godwin and Madison Prewett. She frequently posts pictures of herself and Hannah Brown on Instagram. In turn, Hannah is close friends with her ex Tyler Cameron and his best friend Matt James. Hannah and Tyler met on her season of The Bachelorette and nearly became engaged in the finale. She spent time with Tyler and Matt James in Florida during the quarantine, but she and Tyler insist that they are just friends. For 2021, Matt was selected to be the first Black lead of The Bachelor in the history of the show.

Now, reports have surfaced that Heather will make an appearance on Matt James' season of The Bachelor, which will air in 2021. According to Bachelor Nation blogger Reality Steve, Heather shows up late during Matt's season to try to win his heart. It seems as though Hannah Brown may be behind Heather's appearance on the show. As a friend of both Heather and Matt, Hannah appears to have suggested to producers that they might make a good match. However, Reality Steve says the drama is short-lived. Matt is apparently not interested in Heather, and her time on the show is seemingly cut short. This is not unprecedented - Nick Viall pulled a similar stunt on Kaitlyn Bristowe's season, and Shawntel Newton appeared briefly on Ben Flajnik's season. Nick made it to the finale of Kaitlyn's season, but Reality Steve reports Heather's appearance is more similar to Shawntel's: "It was similar to when Shawntel showed up on Ben Flajnik's season in episode 3 in San Francisco, and he basically gave her the ol' 'it wouldn't be fair to the others' line." The blogger also wrote what must have been part of Matt's reasoning, since "it's pretty cold to send someone home right away who is a friend of your friend who flew across the country and quarantined for a week before meeting you."

Matt James and Tyler Cameron from The Bachelor

Since they have mutual friends within The Bachelor franchise, it's absolutely possible that Heather and Matt had met beforehand. Would Heather have flown across the country and be quarantined to meet someone she had never met? Either way, Heather must have been very interested in Matt to have gone on the show and quarantined to meet him. Sounds like Hannah Brown's matchmaking skills need more work.

Matt's season already sounds like it's filled with drama, and sources confirm that he does fall in love on The Bachelor. We can't wait to see what happens.
