On The Bachelor season 26, one of the twenty-two remaining contestants, Shanae Ankney, has made quite a name for herself so far, and fans are very curious about this season's rumored villain. The Ohio native quickly turned from friend to foe in the Bachelor Mansion, after aligning herself with the fellow villain,  Cassidy Timbrooks.

Although Cassidy's time on the show seems to be coming to an end, following week 2's cliffhanger, she shared her strategy with Shanae before being eliminated. While she utilized Cassidy's game plan on the second group date. during which she competed in a relationship red flags challenge, Shanae found herself frustrated with Elizabeth, who spent the first half of the date sitting and flirting with Clayton. Shanae eventually took her frustrations out on Elizabeth, pushing her over during the challenge's obstacle course. Tensions continued to flare between The Bachelor women after Shanae accused Elizabeth of being fake and two-faced.

Shanae Ankney was born on April 10, 1992, making her a 29-year-old Aries. She is the second daughter of Michael and Sonja Ankney and was raised in Sycamore, Ohio. The town is to the southwest of Cleveland, with a population of roughly 850 people. She reportedly has a brother named Seth and an older sister named Chantel. Seth and his wife of four and a half years, Haylie Hartsel, still live in Ohio and are raising Shanae's niece and nephew in nearby Upper Sandusky. Chantel, who is four years older than Shanae and resides in San Diego, California, is currently expecting her first child with Owen Santos, her husband of two years.

She had a hard time finding love prior to The Bachelor. As for what she's looking for in a partner, the ambitious, competitive, and independent Ohio native wants a man who won't play games. Her ideal man should also encourage her to strive for her goals, and enjoy her big personality. Shanae appears to be very adventurous and athletic, according to her Instagram, so it makes sense that she is looking for a partner who likes being active and spending time outdoors.

Although there isn't a lot of information about Shanae's personal life available right now, there are some details about her professional life. She has been working as the Director of Recruiting at OPOC.us for the last six and a half years. This recruiter and The Bachelor cast member maintains contact with current and potential clients and aims to provide the best possible care while handling client benefit plans. In 2017, while in her role as Director of Recruiting, Shanae additionally worked as a neurological surgery administrative assistant at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She's also a licensed cosmetologist who enjoys opportunities to grow and make a difference in the lives of the people around her.

Now that fans of The Bachelor know more about Shenae, they will be able to tune in and see if predictions that she is going to cause a ruckus in future episodes pan out.
