Fans may be in for a bumpy ride between Chris Harrison and Peter Weber on the upcoming season of The BachelorA new promo shows tension between the beloved host of the show and the brand new lead. Although the season 24 slogan is "Expect Turbulence," some of that conflict may be between the two men on the show, rather than the women in the house.

Peter, also known as "Pilot Pete," first appeared on Hannah Brown's season of The BacheloretteAlthough the two shared a strong connection and an intense sexual chemistry that led to a wild night in a windmill, Hannah sent him home after fantasy suite dates. As Hannah went on to compete on Dancing With the Stars and Peter set out to film the next season of The Bachelor, fans were sure their relationship was over for good. However, many of the new promos and trailers for the upcoming season have teased Hannah's reappearance on the show. Most promos focus on a particularly intense and intimate conversation between her and Peter in which he suggests that she join the girls in the house. While those clips have certainly stirred up excitement for the new season, a new promo trailer reveals tension beyond Peter and Hannah's connection.

A promo released exclusively to E! shows an intense conversation between Peter and Chris Harrison. While the promo starts with the typical Bachelor drivel, such as Peter claiming that he's "about to embark on the most amazing flight of his life," the lighthearted tone quickly takes a turn. Following an unidentified woman claiming that "the claws are definitely coming out," the promo switches to a short scene between Chris and Peter. "You need to make this right," the host tells the lead, without a hint of a smile on his face. While the moment is short, it certainly suggests some tension between the two men.

Chris Harrison and Peter Weber

Beyond the Chris Harrison moment, the rest of the promo focuses on Peter's connection to the women. Intercut with scenes of Peter making out with women in various locations, there's also a clip of him claiming that he has been "intimate" while on the show. "I can't lie to you about that," Weber tells someone off-camera. Of course, the promo also includes the same clip of Peter and Hannah Brown, including Brown's limo exit on the very first night.

In general, Harrison tends to stay out of the drama. He's a fatherly figure who steps in to guide the mechanics of the show and offer the lead advice when needed. While the moment was brief, his directive to Peter in the new promo felt intense and personal. What could the new Bachelor have done to anger the generally even-tempered host? Without any further context to the clip, we can only hope that the moment isn't quite as intense as it seems.
