In May 2020, HBO Max launched its new streaming service, and it has plenty of great shows and movies available to watch whenever. Friends, The Big Bang Theory, and Adventure Time are among the popular series that you can stream on HBO Max.

HBO Max may be curating a great library of scripted content, but it also has a very strong collection of reality TV programming. Among these great shows are The Bachelor and some of its many spin-off series. If you find yourself now an HBO Max subscriber, and you love reality shows, then here are a few great ones to check out.

The Bachelor

HBO only currently has The Bachelor seasons 20, 21 and 23 available of the USA series, but it has a few international versions and several spin-offs also available for viewing. The Bachelor Australia, New Zealand, U.K., and Canada are among the other versions that you can watch on HBO Max. The Bachelorette also has a few seasons of the American one available along with some international versions. The spin-off series available are Bachelor in Paradise and Bachelor Pad, and a few of their international versions.

Supernanny 

Jo Frost from The Supernanny

Supernanny is a reality series that began in the U.K. in 2004. It then received an American version, also hosted by Jo Frost, that aired on ABC and then Lifetime network. Nanny Jo Frost would help parents with their misbehaving children. She gave the families a much-needed family dynamic revamping.  The original U.K. series ran for five seasons, and they are all available on HBO Max. 

The streaming service also includes Jo Frost’s spin-off series Beyond the Naughty Step. In this series, Frost revisits some families a few weeks after her time with them on Supernanny. Beyond the Naughty Step allows her to give the families additional advice and guidance. 

Little Big Shots

Little Big Shots is a NBC series that highlights amazing children doing remarkable things. The children selected are from all over the world, but mainly the USA. Little Big Shots was hosted by Steve Harvey, but Melissa McCarthy took over in season 4. The first three seasons with Steve Harvey as host are available to stream on HBO Max. 

Project Greenlight

Project Greenlight is a series that was created for HBO and produced by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. Its original run was from 2001-2005. The show was revived in 2015 and ran for one more season. Project Greenlight ran for four seasons in total. The series was all about helping undiscovered filmmakers film, edit, produce and premiere their original films. Four films were created through the series, including one featuring a younger Shia LaBeouf

Craftopia

Craftopia is an original HBO series hosted by Lauren Riihimaki. It’s a family-friendly show featuring contestants ages 9 to 15. Each episode, the contestants are giving challenges to create different things in a restricted time frame. The contestant who creates the best creation wins $5,000.

It’s a fun series if you’re looking for some HBO Max content that can be enjoyed by the whole family, or if you just want some wholesome reality TV to binge.

The Bachelor collection may be the most tempting of the HBO Max reality TV selections, but there is plenty of other great reality TV to give a chance.
