While “Never Been Kissed” Heather Martin may have overshadowed their carnival date, The Bachelor lead Matt James made the cutest memories with Pieper James, the woman who shares his last name in episode 6. Pieper has been attracting attention since Day 1 on season 25, not only for her chemistry with Matt but also largely for her unproblematic behavior. But who is Pieper when she’s not sharing steamy open-eyed kisses with Matt or dancing to a private concert by Temecula Road? Happy Valley, Oregon, native and grad student Pieper maintained a squeaky clean slate by staying away from drama so far in The Bachelor. As things got super nasty for Matt's new contestants at the hands of Victoria Larson and Anna Redman, Pieper took her time to step into the spotlight. The 23-year-old has been one of the contestants Matt has hid eye on. On the latest episode, Pieper and Matt shared a carnival-themed date. During dinner, Pieper confessed, “Matt I’m falling in love with you.” The Bachelor gave Pieper his rose and he promised to be open about his feelings and emotions,
Pieper had told Matt when she met him, “My dad always wanted my sisters and I to keep our last name, which is ‘James,’" before adding, “So, I’m very happy to be meeting you.” Bachelor Nation was equally happy to meet Pieper as well. Hailing from a “wonderful family who has supported all her endeavors,” according to her ABC bio, Pieper loves her “Gramcracker” grandma the most. And when she’s not spending time with her folks, “this woman with zero of a poker face,” is busy being a student at DePaul University. The Bachelor star is all set to get her Master’s Degree in marketing in 2021, and HollywoodLife writes that Pieper is also the president of DePaul’s professional marketing network, Kellstadt Marketing Group. On Instagram, Pieper James also shows off her funny side by writing, "Getting my M.S to avoid some B.S," in her bio.
Prior to this, Pieper graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor’s Degree in political science and sociology, while also doing some big-brand modeling on the side. While Pieper spent a year working with Mercedes Benz from 2019 to 2020, between her time as an undergraduate and graduate, the ABC celeb also signed to Q6 Models and 10mgmt, with whom she’s also done a campaign for Nike in 2020.
As Pieper climbed the corporate ladder just as quickly as she’s impressing Matt, The Bachelor woman was promoted from assistant brand manager to business development coordinator at her 9-5 alongside posing for several athletic and high-fashion brands.
