Over a month after they announced their split, Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan from The Bachelor were spotted out at a club together in Tampa, Fla. An onlooker caught the former couple getting cozy as they moved through the crowd of people in the middle of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
On New Year's Eve, Peter revealed in an Instagram post that he and Kelley had decided to go their separate ways after more than eight months of dating. Fans were shocked by the news as the couple had planned on moving to New York City together in the new year. After a few days went by, Kelley finally broke her silence adding she needed time to process the news before she made any kind of statement. Shortly after Kelley confirmed the breakup, Peter announced he was moving to NYC while Kelley stayed in Florida. Now it seems as though Peter and Kelley may be headed to NYC together after all.
According to the infamous pop culture news Instagram Deux Moi, Peter and Kelley were spotted together at a nightclub in Tampa on Saturday for a Super Bowl pre-party. A Bachelor fan account reposted the video and the picture a fan caught of the two. The video showed the pair walking through the crowded club with Peter moving his arms in the air to dance. The picture showed Kelley pull down her mask to whisper something to Peter although his face could not be seen. Before the post of the pair surfaced, Kelsey Weier from Peter season shared a photo of her and Kelley to her Instagram where the two were in a photo together in Tampa. Peter also participated in a game of flag football with fellow Bachelorette contestants Blake Horstmann and Jason Tartick.
After the post was re-shared on the Bachelor-related account, fans were not happy with Peter and Kelley going to a crowded club in the middle of a global pandemic. "They said covid who," commented one fan, while another added, "my thoughts seeing all of them in Florida right now," with several eye-roll emoji's. A fan who claims to be a nurse did not appreciate the pair going to a club during COVID-19, "As a nurse this this pisses me off." Another added how the state of Florida clearly does not care about the ongoing pandemic, "Jesus Christ Florida does not give a f**k about COVID." Not only were fans upset about the couple being apart of a super-spreader event, but they were also upset with seeing Kelley with Peter again. Fans thought Kelley was smarter than this and would leave Peter in 2020 and find a real man in 2021.
If Peter and Kelley want to work on their relationship and hopefully get back together that is their decision. What bothers the fans of The Bachelor is the couple attending a packed event in the middle of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. There are better ways to work out a relationship than at a packed club during this time.
