After two wedding date mishaps, Bachelor in Paradise’s Wells Adams and Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland are finally planning their wedding day. While Wells and Sarah began their relationship in a non-traditional way, meeting on Instagram, they are striving to finally tie the knot and officially begin their lives together. Even though Wells has spent a number of years fostering love and connections amongst couples on Bachelor in Paradise, he too has gotten the chance to pursue love of his own.

Beginning in 2017, Wells and Sarah were first recognized as an official couple. Over the years, the two have tried to solidify their relationship, yet have been unable to make their marriage official. Wells and Sarah, who were engaged in 2019, expected a quicker turnaround for the famous pairing to finally get married. Due to health concerns and the unpredictability of the COVID-19 pandemic, wedding plans were put off, leaving the two to eagerly await the date when they could finally walk down the aisle hand in hand.

According to US Weekly, the couple is actively planning their third, and hopefully final, attempt at planning their wedding. With plenty of rumors circulating about the big day, specifically the location of the wedding, Wells quickly cut off the lingering gossip. Fans have been eager to know if there is a chance of a Bachelor in Paradise wedding for Wells and Sarah. He firmly stated, “No way because my brother’s best man speech would probably make air and I don’t know if I’m ready for that.” There has also been speculation about Sarah playing a role in the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise, but Wells neither confirmed nor denied this fan theory. Wells did not mention Sarah when speaking about the upcoming season, but he did name-drop a handful of celebrity appearances, including David Spade, Lance Bass, Lil Jon, and Tituss Burgess.

Wells and Sarah may have confirmed wedding news, but a specific date and location have been left on the down-low. In his conversation with US Weekly, Wells did confirm a number of “twists and turns” as well as events that he was “shocked by,” possibly hinting at this fan theory about Sarah being thrown into the mix of Paradise this summer. Whether or not Sarah does or does not make an appearance on the show, fans are certain to be in for an entertaining season of Paradise, one the clearly left a good impression on the iconic bartender on the series.

Love is in the air, both between Wells and soon-to-be wife Sarah as well as with the various contestants on Bachelor in Paradise. With plenty of buzz around both their nuptials and the diverse cast featured on the series, Bachelor Nation is in for an exciting summer. As the series takes a new turn without host Chris Harrison, the series promises plenty of new beginnings, including new guest judges, exciting appearances from past Bachelors and Bachelorettes, and a season of Bachelor in Paradise that Wells claims is worth the watch and “a really wonderful season.”
