Former Bachelor in Paradise star Tia Booth gave fans an update about her pregnancy, including a hint about her baby boy's name. Tia made her Bachelor Nation debut on Arie Luyendyk's season of The Bachelor in 2018. Later that year, she tried her luck on Bachelor in Paradise season 5. In 2021, she returned for Bachelor in Paradise season 7, but did not find love. However, in October of that year, Tia revealed that she was in a relationship with Taylor Mock, whom she had met before she left for Paradise, but did not begin dating until she returned home.
On April 10, 2022, Taylor proposed to a shocked Tia at the Bachelor Live on Stage show in Atlanta, and she happily accepted. Tia announced that she was pregnant on Father's Day. She decided to share the good news about her baby on that day because she also wanted to honor her late father, Kenny, on her first Father's Day without him. He passed away in February after a year-long battle with colon cancer. In July, Tia and Taylor announced that their baby will be a boy in a sweet gender reveal Instagram post. Now, in an interview with People, Tia gives fans an update about her pregnancy.
Tia Booth Feels Good As She Prepares To Welcome Her Baby
Tia said that she is "feeling good," as she and Taylor are preparing to welcome their baby boy. She shared that she has been "a little uncomfortable," but "rib pain lets me know this baby is fully stretched out and comfy!" Tia is in awe of the fact that she is about to become a mother. She marveled, "It still amazes me every single day when I feel him move and realize that I'm growing a human."
Tia Explains Why She Wanted Maternity Pictures
Tia shared photographs from her maternity shoot, explaining that it was "perfect timing" for the pictures to be taken. She said that when "approaching 7 months pregnant, it's easy to feel like you aren't 'yourself' anymore." The Bachelor in Paradise alum went on to say that the photo shoot boosted her confidence. She added, "I'm so happy to have these photos to remember this time forever." Tia shared the photographs on her Instagram page.
Tia & Taylor Have Chosen A First Name For Their Son
Tia teased her baby boy's name, saying, "Baby boy has a name! Well ... he has a first name. The middle name is harder than we thought." Although she did not reveal her son's name, she said that she, her husband, and their baby "will all have the initials 'TM.'"
Tia Cannot Wait To Meet Her Baby Boy
Tia gushed that she is anticipating "just holding this little boy and seeing what he looks like." She added that she is "so excited for the newborn phase" because "there's nothing better than that new baby smell and the sweet cuddles."
Tia experienced many trials and tribulations on The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise, but she found her true love in Taylor. Her baby son is so lucky to have two parents who love each other so much and who are ready to share that love with him as well. Tia is wished good health and happiness as she welcomes her baby boy into the world.
