Bachelor In Paradise star Riley Christian announced that he will open his own law firm and Maurissa Gunn reacted to the big announcement. Riley, a 32-year-old medical malpractice attorney who currently resides in Long Island City, New York, first won the hearts of Bachelor Nation when he wooed Clare Crawley and, later, Tayshia Adams on The Bachelorette season 16. Riley was left single when both Clare and Tayshia found love with other men. While on the show, Riley revealed that he was searching for a woman with whom he could spend Sunday mornings. He finally found her on Bachelor In Paradise season 7, when he met Maurissa Gunn. They got engaged at the end of the season and seemed very happy together. However, Maurissa recently removed almost all of her pictures with Riley from her Instagram account, and both of them have been posting cryptic messages that fans have interpreted to mean that they have parted ways.

Riley graduated with a bachelor's degree in journalism from The University of Findlay in Ohio in 2013. He then earned his Juris Doctor degree from Syracuse University College of Law in 2016, where he was the president of the Black Law Students Association. Until recently, Riley worked at the law firm Aaronson Rappaport Feinstein & Deutsch, LLP in New York, where he practiced general litigation and transactions and medical malpractice litigation.

In a post on Instagram, Riley announced that he will soon open his own law firm called Christian Law. He posted two pictures of himself proudly sitting at his desk with his law school diploma hanging above his head. Riley wrote, "I always wanted to be able to do some good in the world. Ya know, help some people that really need it. I never thought I’d put it together from my living room, but here I am. Christian Law practice coming soon. Wish us luck. We’re going to need it." Riley included a "fingers crossed" emoji, indicating that he hopes that the law firm is successful.

Riley's Bachelor Nation friends flooded the comments section with words of support. Riley was always one of the most respected and well-liked members of the franchise. His Bachelor In Paradise co-stars, Ivan Hall, Tammy Ly, and Mari Pepin congratulated him. Noah Erb said, "I got all the faith it will be a success and many people will be helped," and Thomas Jacobs wrote, "God's plan!" Dale Moss, who Riley met while filming The Bachelorette, said, "Keep going bro!" Perhaps the most significant support came from Maurissa, who did not comment on the post, but did give it a "like."

Riley was admired by fans of The Bachelorette and Bachelor In Paradise for his caring and sensitive nature. He is a man of intelligence, compassion, and maturity. Bachelor Nation is sure to support him in his latest endeavor. Riley genuinely wants to make his mark on the world, and this law practice is the perfect way to do that.
