Riley Christian joined season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise during Tuesday night's episode and some fans want to know more about his background. The Paradise newbie walked onto the beach hoping he would find the love of his life by the end of the season. So far, Riley is off to a good start after he took Maurissa Gunn on a date. The couple hit it off immediately and were able to connect during their one-on-one.
After the date came to an end, they entered the "Boom Boom" Room, located on the premises in the Playa Escondida Resort in Mexico. While no one knows exactly what happened in the room, Riley and Maurissa did seem happier than ever with their connection the following day. Prior to Riley and Maurissa's date, Maurissa had developed a relationship with Connor B. The producers even spliced together Connor playing the guitar while Riley and Maurissa were together.
So who is Riley Christian, and how did he end up on BIP? Well, before appearing in Mexico, Riley was looking for love on the Clare Crawley/Tayshia Adams season of The Bachelorette. Before Riley joined Bachelor Nation, he was working in three different jobs: an attorney, sports agent, and real estate agent in New York City. The 31-year-old, who reportedly slid in Katie Thurston's DM's, got to where he is today thanks to his many degrees. According to Decider, he first attended The University of Findlay in Ohio, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism in 2013. The reality star then attended Syracuse University College of Law for graduate school and got his J.D. in 2016. In 2015, he founded his own company called Reberth, a sports representation company. Riley's role in the company is to help baseball players on their journey to the Majors.
Since appearing on the ABC dating series, Riley continues to work in a number of different roles. However, like most former Bachelor franchise contestants, becoming an influencer is always an option, even if it's part-time. On Riley's Instagram, he often shares sponsored posts, one of which he shared earlier this month. The post was for the post-work-out protein bar NuGo Nutrition. Other than being successful career-wise, Riley, who can't be too busy with his three jobs, has been working on his fitness. A majority of his Instagram photos consist of him working hard at the gym, sculpting his abs and biceps. Clearly, what Riley's doing is working since he looks to be in better shape than he was on The Bachelorette. Riley will also sometimes share adorable photos with his fellow Bachelorette contestants, such as Jordan C., Bennett, Joe, and more.
Now Riley is taking a shot at love on BIP, and viewers are excited to see how his time on the show works out. Will Riley end up engaged, or will he go home broken-hearted? Judging by his most recent date with Maurissa, it seems this New York City-based attorney may be bringing someone home after all.
