Bachelor in Paradise star Noah Erb is weighing in on the rumors that Dale Moss and Abigail Heringer hooked up. Dale made his first appearance in Bachelor Nation on Clare Crawley's season of The Bachelorette. Though Clare got engaged to Dale and left her season early with him, the two have had an on-again-off-again relationship. They split for the first time after only a couple of months together, just to reconcile less than a month later. Even though it seemed like everything was going well for them, Clare and Dale have recently ended things for good. The last place they were seen together as a couple was the US Open in New York, along with other Bachelor alums Katie Thurston and Blake Moynes.
Since their breakup, there have been rumors circulating that Dale and Abigail, who previously competed for Matt James' heart, hooked up either while Clare and Dale were on a break, or while they were still together. Clare recently took to Instagram to lend some insight into her breakup. Under a post of her holding her mother's hand, who is currently in hospice care, Clare explained that she's choosing not to speak on the breakup because anyone has the power to spin her story into whatever narrative they want. She also shared that she is going through a lot right now with her mother's current state. Clare added fuel to the Dale and Abigail rumors by originally tagging Abigail in the post, before removing it later.
Noah, who has been dating Abigail on the current season of BIP, seemingly had something to say about all of this in a recent Instagram Story. "So, I just checked my phone and I saw some DMs and some spoiler accounts and a lot of interesting stuff swirling around. Huh,” Noah said on his Story (via Us Weekly). Someone else could also be heard laughing off-camera. "A lot of interesting stuff swirling around … It must be spooky season [ghost emoji]," he captioned the Story.
An exclusive source also told Us Weekly that Abigail and Dale hooked up while Abigail thought his relationship with Clare wasn't serious, sometime before the show began filming in the summer. Allegedly, Clare, who was also previously engaged to Benoit Beauséjour-Savard, found out about all of this online, which is why she originally tagged Abigail in her post. However, another source claimed that Dale never cheated on his ex-fiancée and that he and Abigail are, and always have been, just friends.
While The Bachelor franchise always has its drama, all of these rumors are currently unverified, until one of the people involved is ready to confirm or deny them. Hopefully, Clare, Dale and Abigail will all be able to work through these rumors, especially with Clare's mom in hospice care. Fans will have to wait and see how Noah and Abigail's journey comes to an end on the BIP season 7 finale.
