On Bachelor in Paradise, Dean Unglert admitted to Caelynn Miller-Keyes that they won't last after the show ends. The van-dwelling, hair-growing Unglert had intentions of improving his image from his last appearance in Paradise, but his most recent conversation with Miller-Keyes did him no favors.

Unglert has been called the Blake Horstmann from two seasons ago on Bachelor in Paradise. He came off Rachel Lindsay's season as a fan favorite in season four and a main attraction among many of the women in Mexico. His indecisiveness between Kristina Schulman and Danielle Lombard led him to wind up with neither woman and look like a bad guy in the process. After a couple years away from the franchise, Unglert returned this season with a new look and, hoping for a fresh start, started dating Miller-Keyes. He said during their one-on-one date that he felt like he'd grown from his past mistakes. His latest talk with Miller-Keyes, in which he revealed to her that he's not ready to settle down after Paradise, perhaps showed otherwise.

After discussions with Demi Burnett and Wells Adams, Miller-Keyes expressed her concerns (via: Us Weekly) to Unglert, saying, "I think your reputation has people worried." Unglert had addressed his reputation during their date, but Miller-Keyes was intent on making sure this was a relationship that could last beyond Paradise. The free-spirited Unglert wasn't so sure. He responded, "All I know right now is I'm enjoying spending time with you."

Unglert, clearly sensing Miller-Keyes needed answers, said, "It's challenging for me to see myself getting to a point where I'm like, 'Alright I'm ready to settle down now.'" Miller-Keyes rolled her eyes when Unglert mentioned that he has no plans of ditching his homeless lifestyle for love.  He said, "I don't want a normal life." Left with no choice, Miller-Keyes conceded, "I think your mind's made up. This just feels like it's gonna stop." Unglert didn't push back, admitting that Miller-Keyes would likely be "miserable" if the two were to date after the show.

This whole exchange brings into question what Unglert thought he was getting himself into the second time around. If he was searching for some sort of redemption arc from the snafu he got himself into the last time he was in Paradise, he should have come in with an entirely different blueprint. At the very least, he should have decided to go on a date with another woman who had similar intentions of casually dating during Paradise and then ending things once the show was over. Miller-Keyes is not that woman, and it's put Unglert in a position where he may once again be perceived negatively by Bachelor Nation when all is said and done.
