No one thought the relationship of Bachelor In Paradise couple Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Dean Unglert would last, but they recently celebrated their two-year anniversary. Ever since meeting on the beach on BIP season six, Caelynn and Dean, who come from drastically different worlds, have experienced their share of obstacles. While Caelynn led a successful pageant career, Dean chose to embrace a nomadic lifestyle and live out of his van. However, much to the surprise of fans and themselves, Caelynn and Dean defied the odds and are still going strong.

While on Bachelor In Paradise, Caelynn and Dean quickly formed strong feelings for each other, but they just weren't on the same page. Though Caelynn saw a post-show future with Dean, he felt Caelynn would be "miserable" if she tried his free-spirited existence, which he refused to give up. In fact, he left the show on Caelynn's birthday, only to return a few days later to seek her forgiveness. She decided to give Dean another chance. They've since been inseparable as they travel the world in Dean's trusty van. Toward the end of 2020, Dean even agreed to say "goodbye" to his full-time van life and move into a new house with Caelynn.

According to Caelynn, her recent birthday on June 15 marked two years since Dean broke up with her. "He came back five days later, so our anniversary is June 20. It's kind of like a week of celebrating my birthday into the anniversary," she told Us Weekly. Caelynn reflected on how most of Bachelor Nation didn't think she and Dean would make it...and she doesn't blame them. "Even we were like, 'No, I don't know what's going to happen here.' So, we definitely defied the odds," she said. "I think that's just our unique relationship and we really try not to listen to it."

Caelynn went on to say that, because of Dean's questionable Paradise past, which saw him juggle between Kristina Schulman and Danielle Lombard on season four, many fans were afraid he hadn't changed. This, explained Caelynn, isn't the case. "He is hilarious and he's very sarcastic and he's also the most romantic person I think I've ever met. He's so thoughtful," said Caelynn. "That's a big misconception, that I'm more invested in the relationship or he doesn't treat me right."

As Caelynn and Dean embark on their next chapter as proud home and dog owners (they fostered and adopted Pappy), Bachelor Nation is excited to see how their love journey unfolds. In 2019, Dean was adamant about not proposing and rushing into marriage. He said at the time, "We're on a good path at the moment. There's nothing really on the horizon but I think that's kind of best." It's likely that Dean's feelings on the situation have changed. He's been taking steps to put down roots and build a true future with Caelynn. Maybe Bachelor In Paradise will have its next wedding soon enough.
