On Bachelor in Paradise season 7, Aaron Clancy and James Bonsall didn’t find the loves of their lives, but they did find a friendship that could last a lifetime. The men moved from woman to woman throughout the weeks, and they often seemed to be clinging to paradise by a thread. While their romantic prospects often appreciated them, nothing stuck. From working out to intimate chat sessions, James and Aaron were inseparable. As James said, “it’s me and you vs. the world, bro.”

Chelsea Vaughn, whom Aaron dated briefly, said that if Aaron spent more time with James than her, she was taking her rose back. To be fair, after tension with Ivan Hall, James had Aaron's back. Ivan tried to talk to Chelsea after promising Aaron that he wouldn't. He lied about who started the conversation. Tia Booth, another love interest of Aaron's, wisely noted that if James or Aaron went home, the other would self-eliminate. Tia said, “they wouldn’t make it here without each other,” and she couldn’t have been more right. After James ended things with Anna Redman, he realized there was someone else he wanted to leave the beach with.

James opened his proposition with an “I love you” and asked if Aaron was ready to head back to San Diego. Aaron accepted the proposal and then pulled Tia aside for a quick goodbye, telling her they would connect in San Diego. Tia played her own game of paradise musical chairs and was shocked, a little irritated, and highly amused by the boys' exit. After that, Aaron hopped on James’ back and rode off towards a California sunset. James said, “maybe I did find love in paradise, with an unexpected person in Aaron, but you know that’s the way the cookie crumbled.” When they exchanged more "I love yous” in their shared car, Aaron said, “dude, that’s facts.”

The bromance is far from over. From building human pyramids to hitting the beach, James and Aaron are the real deal. The men even posed shirtless together for Aaron's Instagram post. Next to the post, Aaron wrote, "a lot has led to this point, it may not have ended how I intended, but better than I could’ve hoped with a brother for life.” He finished by adding, “I love you all, this is only the beginning ❤️😉.” James even relocated from La Jolla to move in with Aaron in San Diego, and the besties-turned-roommates are going strong.

Aaron and James may have one of the greatest love stories ever told. The way they support one another makes them great role models. Their ability to laugh and be joyful while the hot and sandy days passed was remarkable. While Aaron may be taking things slow with Tia back home, fans can have faith that Bachelor in Paradise’s most epic bromance is far from over.
