Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour from Bachelor in Paradise are excited for their upcoming nuptials in 2023. The couple met more than two years ago after they appeared on season 6 of the spin-off series. At first, Hannah was mingling with some of the other men on the beach, including Blake Horstmann. The pair briefly dated prior to arriving in Mexico, but the relationship was never anything serious. While Blake was hoping to rekindle their romance, Hannah already had her sights set on Dylan.

Even though there was some trouble in paradise caused by Blake, Hannah and Dylan managed to keep their relationship intact. During the finale rose ceremony of the season, Dylan got down on one knee and proposed to Hannah, who is inviting alums to their wedding. She, of course, said yes, and the two have been together ever since. Since getting engaged, the couple has moved in together and even purchased a home in California.

In a recent interview with Us Weekly during New York Fashion Week, the 26-year-old opened up about her wedding to Dylan, which was postponed due to the COVID-9 pandemic to a new date, and how excited she is for her upcoming nuptials. "[The date has been] pushed back a bit. We’ve been eyeing 2023 so we’ll see how it goes," she explained to the news outlet on Saturday. Right now, Hannah and Dylan, who want a private wedding, are focusing on finding a venue that coincides with their vision. "We’ve been kind of working on that a little bit," Hannah revealed. "I think that, like, [the] vibe [...] anything that feels outdoor, European-ish, but I don’t know where that’s going to be. But that’s the vibe at least we’re aiming towards." As for whether or not they want their wedding televised like many BIP couples before them, Hannah said it doesn't seem likely.

Dylan Barbour proposes to Hannah Godwin in Bachelor in Paradise

Hannah said that she wants her wedding to Dylan to be "personal" and "as close-knit" as they possibly can. The couple wants their day to be as enjoyable as possible and not wasting the day away by greeting everyone. Overall, she and Dylan, who bashed ABC, want to enjoy the day and not have to worry about other outside factors. Even though the pair is happy in their engagement phase, they are ready to start the next chapter of their lives as husband and wife. The two also completed renovating their new California home after purchasing it together earlier this year, and so far, the couple has been loving life under the same roof. Luckily they have a good balance in their relationship and haven't had any major issues since moving in together.

Now that they have a better idea of when their wedding will be, Hannah and Dylan are excited about finally having the ceremony. After getting engaged in 2019, the couple is ready to finally live life as husband and wife. Hopefully, some Bachelor Nation alums will be making the guest list.
