One of Bachelor Nation’s most prolific members and lead of The Bachelor season 21, Nick Viall has reportedly turned away from his bachelor lifestyle. Nick is said to be in a new relationship with a woman from outside Bachelor Nation.
Nick was introduced on Andi Dorfman’s season of The Bachelorette, where he fell hard and fast for the attorney. He ultimately came in second that season, but Nick wasn’t done with The Bachelorette just yet, and popped up yet again on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season. Once again, Nick quickly fell in love with the quirky Canadian, but lost out to Shawn Booth in the end. After his first two stints in the franchise, Nick became a favorite among fans, and it was no surprise when he was included in the cast of Bachelor in Paradise season 3. Though he shared a summer romance with The Bachelor season 20 contestant Jen Saviano, he left Mexico single and alone. But Bachelor Nation (or at least ABC) was quick to give him another chance, and he was announced as the franchise’s next Bachelor. Nick seemed excited for the opportunity, and at the end of his season, he fell in love and proposed to Vanessa Grimaldi. But unfortunately, the relationship wasn’t built to last, and the engagement dissolved five months after the season aired.
Since his turn as The Bachelor, Nick has kept a low dating profile, and aside from a brief relationship with Mad Men star January Jones, he’s largely stayed single. That is until now. According to People, Nick is currently dating Natalie Joy, a surgical technician from outside of Bachelor Nation. While neither Nick or Natalie have officially announced the relationship, the pair were spotted walking around the neighborhood of Nick’s new 1.72 million dollar North Hollywood home, and a source close to Nick confirmed that they have been relationship-official since last year, and that Natalie is “great for him.”
A quick dig into Nick and Natalie’s respective social media accounts provides further evidence to back up the theory that the two are dating. Not only have they been trading likes back and forth on Instagram, a sharp eye can spot some telling similarities between their photos. In September, fans noticed a pool pic that Natalie posted looked suspiciously like the pool at Nick’s new house. “definitely Nick’s pool so she must be the mysterious woman he’s dating ❤️,” one fan commented, while others just assumed he was the one behind the camera.
It would seem that the cat is out of the bag on this relationship, so it’s surprising that Nick and Natalie have not yet gone public with the news. Is the former lead of The Bachelor really ready to give up his single life? Nick has long talked about his desire for marriage and a family, so hopefully this is his chance to finally go off the market.
