On the most recent episode of The Bachelor, Matt James sent home both Anna Redman and Queen Victoria Larson, leaving fans rejoicing on social media. Matt had a private conversation with Anna prior to the rose ceremony during which he confronted her about accusing Brittany Galvin of being an escort. Ultimately, Matt decided to ask Anna to leave before later eliminating Victoria during the rose ceremony.

While Anna did not start to stir up drama until recently, Victoria has been causing issues since the first night of the season. The self-proclaimed "queen" has been speaking down to the other contestants since she stepped out of the limo on night one. She interrupted Kit's conversation with Matt, calling her a princess while referring to herself as a queen. Victoria later had issues with her former roommate Marylynn prior to her elimination. When Sarah Trott voluntarily left the show, Victoria was perceived as the root of the mocking of her. In a recent interview, Victoria claimed that her insults on the show were "all in good fun."

It is clear that most fans of The Bachelor were quite happy following Monday night's episode when two of the show's mean girls left the competition. In fact, they actually praised Matt James for squashing the drama by sending two of the sources packing. As seen below, one user on Twitter even said that Matt is now their favorite Bachelor for acting so quickly. Many were not impressed by Anna's half of her conversation with Matt. Her apology in no way seemed real as she claimed to regret her actions only because she "got caught." While many were not fans of Anna, they did not think she was as bad as Victoria. Anna made one mistake which she only apologized for when she felt she was at risk of being sent home. Victoria, on the other hand, never took accountability for her actions. Instead, she seemed to play the victim when confronted about her own words. On Reddit, some fans had plenty to say about these women's eliminations.

Overall, Bachelor Nation fans are confident that Matt James made the right move by sending both Anna and Victoria home. They were so excited that one fan created a Reddit thread joking they'd buy everyone a shot if Victoria was sent home at the end of the night. The thread was then filled with excitement following the conclusion of that episode. But drama aside, neither Anna nor Victoria seemed to have a strong connection with Matt in the first place, which only validated his decision to send them home. However, fans did in fact question why Matt kept Victoria for as long as he did consider her true colors were shown during the early weeks. Once again, the topic of Victoria being a "producers pick" was brought up as many viewers of the show are convinced Victoria was purposely planted on the show to draw in drama.

Just because two of the mean girls are now gone, that doesn't mean the drama will subside. The latest battle was between MJ and Jessenia when Jessenia followed in Katie's footsteps by calling out MJ for her unkind actions. As this season of The Bachelor is now halfway through, Matt James is going to have to take a step back and carefully consider who he can truly spend the rest of his life with. At least fans know it won't be Anna or Victoria.
