Over its 17 years on the air, The Bachelor franchise has introduced audiences to some of the most endearing figures in reality television history. Despite the constant controversy, drama, and shocking twists and turns, the show has produced a number of fan-favorite couples that rose above it all and found happiness after the final roses were given out at the end of the show.

Though not all of these couples have decided to stay together in the end, many of them still value their experiences with one another and have even gone on to appear on other spin-off shows in the franchise like Bachelor in Paradise, Bachelor Pad, or Bachelor Winter Games. Here's a count-down of fan favorite couples from the show that made us believe in true love!

Tanner Tolbert and Jade Roper (Together)

Tanner Tolbert and Jade Roper met on the first season of Bachelor in Paradise after appearing on Katelyn Bristowe and Chris Soules' seasons respectively. They ended the show engaged, and Roper even moved to Kansas City to be with Tolbert.

Roper and Tolbert were married on a special Bachelor episode celebrating the show's 20th season that aired in early 2016. Though tragedy struck the couple in the form of a miscarriage of their first child, the two went have to have a healthy daughter and are expecting a son this year!

Carly Waddell and Evan Bass definitely weren't love at first sight, but that doesn't seem to matter in the long run! Though Bass was initially extremely interested in Waddell from the get-go, she called their first kiss "the worse in the world." However, after sharing each others' company on a few dates on Bachelor in Paradise, Waddell came around.

Now, the two live in Nashville with their daughter Isabella and Bass's three children from a previous relationship. They recently announced that they are expecting a second child together in November 2019!

Though the couple proved to be happy on social media, they unfortunately decided to split. Bristowe later revealed to People that while their relationship was genuine, they were "not on the same page." Though it proved an unfortunate end for the couple, it was definitely heartwarming for audiences to watch their budding love from the beginning on the show.

Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici (Together)

Catherine Guidici and Sean Lowe

Sean Lowe and Catherine Guidici are Bachelor-franchise history--they are the only couple to have married from the Bachelor! After their engagement on the show in 2012, they were married on a televised ceremony in 2014, in which Lowe's father delivered the nuptials to the happy couple. Many other Bachelor couples, including J.P. and Ashley, Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried, and Jason and Molly Mesnick attended the event.

The Lowe family has grown in recent years, as Catherine and Sean have had two sons named Samuel and Isaiah. They currently reside in Dallas, and shared their fifth anniversary together in January 2019.

Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter (Together)

These two are the OG Bachelor couple, and we couldn't be happier for their success! After finishing as the runner-up on the first season of The Bachelor, Trista Sutter (née Rehn) went on to star in her own season of The Bachelorette, in which she chose Ryan Sutter as her winner.

The couple wed in 2003, and have been married ever since! Over their 16 years together, the Sutters have had two children, Blakesley and Maxwell, and reside Colorado. Neither one of the Sutters completely shied away from reality television after their storybook ending--in 2005, Trista appeared on the inaugural season of Dancing with the Stars and Ryan appeared on Fear Factor.

Upon the announcement that Tubi, a streaming service, would have their old episodes available for viewing, Trista said, "I don't know if we'll necessarily pull up the Tubi app and have [our kids] watch my season of The Bachelorette...Their parents making out? No, we don't need to be showing them that."
