Five new contestants are entering The Bachelor season 25 in week four to compete for Matt James' love. During the premiere episode, longtime host Chris Harrison announced to Bachelor Nation that they had received a record number of applications from women who were interested in being cast on this season of the show. To reflect that record-breaking achievement, the show started out with 32 women, which is the highest amount of day-one contestants in the history of the series. Some fans thought that this would mean that no new girls would be added later on in the season, considering how many people were there from the start.

This has indeed been a great cast of women on The Bachelor, featuring all sorts of personalities, races, ethnicities, and backgrounds. Matt James finds himself to be surrounded by some great women who are absolutely considered "marriage material" by every standard set by the series in previous seasons. Sure, there are still a few contestants who seem to be there to start drama and pull stunts. Overall, however, the ladies on Matt's season seem to be opening themselves up to really trust the process and potentially fall in love. And yet, the producers are raising the stakes yet again by bringing in new contestants.

In total, five new women are joining Matt James' season of The Bachelor on week 4. These are Brittany Galvin (@lilgalvin), Catalina Morales (@catalinnamorales), Kim Li (@kimawaywithme), Michelle Young (@michelle.young.1), and Ryan Claytor (@ryanmarcelle). Brittany is 23 years old and from Chicago, Illinois. She is the woman that other contestants are accusing of being an "escort." Catalina is Puerto Rican and 29 years old. She's currently a lawyer but has worked as a model in the past. 28-year-old Kim is from Cypress, California. She is an ICU nurse and worked in the frontlines during the COVID-19 pandemic. Michelle is 27 years old and comes from Woodbury, Minnesota. She seems to be an idealistic woman with big plans for her future. 25-year-old Ryan is from Mechanicsville, Virginia. She is a professional dancer.

From the looks of it, Matt James will thoroughly enjoy meeting these five new women on The Bachelor. With that said, the current contestants on the show appear to be much less excited about welcoming brand-new competitors to the season. Even more drama is probably going to happen from this point on, and the fans are looking forward to all the shade that will probably come from Queen Victoria when she sees the new girls.

Bachelor Nation should brace itself for a wild ride on this next episode. Let the games begin!
