ICU nurse Kim Li from Los Angeles, California wanted to fall in love with Matt James on The Bachelor season 25. This season has been a wild ride for Matt so far, particularly considering that he isn't a Bachelor Nation alum from a past season of The Bachelorette or Bachelor In Paradise. Even for previous contestants that go on to headline their own season, it's always a new experience to perform on the show as a lead. For someone who's brand-new to the whole thing, however, the challenge is even greater.

And yet, Matt James has been a standup guy on The Bachelor, always being very considerate of everyone's feelings and taking the time to listen to different perspectives and process them thoroughly. In fact, some fans have called out the show for forcing Matt to keep certain women that he seemingly has no connection with but who are giving good TV for the producers to work with. That includes the so-called Queen Victoria Larson, but there are others as well. Alas, five new women were been added to the cast, which means that Matt has even more options.

Kim Li was one of the newcomers who are officially competing on The Bachelor for Matt James' love and attention. A Los Angeles resident, Kim is 28 years old and works as an ICU nurse. It's great that frontline healthcare workers like Kim and The Bachelorette star Joe Park are getting so much attention on these recent seasons, as they have been so essential to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. During her interview with ABC for the show, Kim revealed that one of her dreams is meeting Beyoncé. She loves getting her adrenaline up, and thinks that many misjudge her as just being a shy person.

While it is too early to tell what will happen on The Bachelor, many fans and former contestants within Bachelor Nation were upset that Kim was sent home promptly. The current castmates on the show didn't exactly love meeting the newcomers, but there was some hope that they'd prove the other girls wrong and find a connection with Matt.

A lot of fans will definitely keep rooting for Kim outside of the show. This could be just the beginning for this contestant!
