Whichever lady wins Matt James' heart at the end of this season of The Bachelor may be in for a rude awakening when they move in together, if recent allegations are true. Matt's former roommate just spilled the tea on what it's like living with the Bachelor, and it doesn't sound like roses. In fact, she says did not like living with him at all. Rachael Kirkconnell may    not be pleased with the ex roommate’s claims, if Reality Steve's predictions are correct and she does in fact win over Matt's heart.

Going into the 25th season of The Bachelor, fans were left with very little information about new Bachelor Matt James. Unlike most leads in the past, this is Matt's first time being a part of the franchise and it has been anything but easy. This season has been full of bullying, drama and toxicity. During the most recent episode, Matt James took it upon himself to make an active effort at putting an end to the bullying. He confronted Anna Redman regarding the rumor she had started about new girl Brittany. Matt later sent Anna home before also sending home Victoria Larson, leaving fans rejoicing.

Matt James may not be the perfect guy after all, if what recently came to light is true. Sophia guest starred on the pop culture podcast "Stay At Home Pop," hosted by Molly Ryan and Arielle Haller-Silverstone. During the 45-minute episode, the unknown woman who goes by Sophia said that Matt was "a less-than-stellar roommate." Sophia explained that she no longer likes Matt, even alleging to having a "falling out" towards the end. She described the current Bachelor as being "the worst." She said she and Matt lived together for about a year in a small apartment in New York City, during which Sophia says she dealt with much "disrespect."

Sophia went into more detail, detailing the awful experiences she says she had as Matt's roommate. Matt supposedly selfishly turned the shared apartment into a "unofficial Bachelor crash pad." He would, according to Sophia, constantly invite friends over, including his current roommate Tyler Cameron and other Bachelor alums and friends from college. Supposedly, Matt would never ask Sophia for permission prior to inviting his friends over, nor would he give her a warning that they'd soon be arriving. According to Sophia, not only would Matt invite his friends over; he also gave some of them a copy of their apartment key, allowing them to come and go as they pleased. Sophia did not appreciate this. She would never know who would be in her apartment and many times they were drunk. As a young single woman, Sophia said she did not feel safe living in this type of environment. Despite Sophia's numerous attempts at confronting Matt about how uncomfortable this made her, Matt apparently did not seem to care. In fact, Sophia shared that Matt once told her, "I don't care that you feel uncomfortable."

If Sophia's statements about Matt are in fact true, Matt may actually be a hypocrite. In the recent episode of The Bachelor, Matt claimed that it was his responsibility to keep the women safe, expressing how much he respects women. While he is portrayed as a nice guy on screen, Matt may not actually be so nice in real life.
