During her first-ever Instagram Live, The Bachelor's Madison Prewett has denied the claims that she's dating fellow Bachelor Nation alum Connor Saeli, but admits he's a "really sweet guy."

At this point we're all aware of who Madison Prewett is. The Alabama native was technically the runner-up but also the winner of Peter Weber's season of The Bachelor, except in the end there were no real winners for his season. It's hard to come back from the mother of the man you want to date and possibly marry openly bashing you on live television, so it wasn't a surprise when Peter and Madison's relationship didn't work out. Madison is still a favorite for many viewers and for those who are curious about who Prewett is dating now, she's setting the record straight about those rumors surrounding her and Connor S. from Hannah Brown's season of The Bachelorette.

During an Instagram Live on Friday, March 27 (via Us Weekly), Madison addressed the rumors that she's dating Saeli, clarifying that "we are not together." The 24-year-old said that Connor "seems like a really sweet guy," adding that he "reached out right after the finale and just sent some encouragement and some support" but emphasized "that is it." The foster parent recruiter said that right now "I am not with anyone" and said that she is taking this time to herself, "just focusing on myself and taking it one day at a time." The question posed to Madison came just hours after Connor was a part of another Instagram Live, but his response is sending all of us mixed signals about their relationship.

While Madison is denying that anything is happening between the pair, Saeli appeared on friend and fellow The Bachelorette alumni John Paul Jones' Instagram Live on the same day and didn't deny the rumors. Jones recalls that he remembers her being "very together very purpose-driven and not giving into someone of the pressures" of the last few episodes of the season, adding that "she's got her stuff together." Saeli, however, chose not to comment and simply laughed while hiding his face from the camera, neither confirming nor denying if something was developing between himself and Madison. Saeli didn't spill any details, but Jones says he is "happy" for the pair and added that "I ship you guys, 100 percent."

After the dramatics that Madison had to endure during the final few episodes of Peter's season of The Bachelor, it's not surprising that she's not looking to date anyone right now - especially another person in Bachelor Nation. Some of the women from Peter's season have already said they'd be interested in going on Bachelor in Paradise, but it seems unlikely that Madison will be appearing on the beaches of Mexico to find love. With Clare Crawley's season of The Bachelorette postponed due to COVID-19 and Bachelor in Paradise production likely being pushed as well, Bachelor Nation fans are ready to grasp onto any potential relationships among former cast members, regardless of the legitimacy behind them.
