Though she’s gone through some difficult times since appearing on The Bachelor, Jenna Cooper has finally found her happy ending after getting engaged recently to her boyfriend, Karl Hudson. There are many Bachelor Nation alum who have found love outside of the show, and Jenna’s road to her engagement was a long one. After what she’s had to endure, Jenna is one of the most deserving of anyone in the franchise to find love and a new family.
After Arie Luyendyk eliminated Jenna on The Bachelor, the bubbly blonde headed to Bachelor in Paradise, where she and Jordan Kimball quickly took a shine to each other. The couple got engaged, but it was short-lived after Jenna was targeted by a pair of truly disturbed “fans” who, by way of Reality Steve, spread vicious rumors that Jenna cheated on Jordan. Jenna’s reputation was destroyed for years until Reality Steve finally retracted his claims.
Jenna has since moved on with her life, embarking on a new relationship and welcoming her first child, a daughter named Presley, last year. The family recently took a trip to Turks and Caicos for what Jenna thought was a birthday vacation. It turns out, the trip was for a surprise engagement, and Jenna was delighted when Karl got down on one knee. “I said YES!” Jenna commented on Instagram. “Easiest decision ever, and Presley agrees….Karl is everything I ever wanted in a man and more. This is the best birthday, and I’m so overwhelmed with joy. Can’t wait to be your wife.”
Jenna’s first engagement on Bachelor in Paradise ended badly, but her relationship with Jordan moved so fast that it might not have stood the test of time anyway. It was a whirlwind romance, and the relationship she has with her current fiancé seems much more stable and mature. She was treated terribly by Bachelor Nation fans for something, it turns out, she didn’t do, and it’s wonderful to see her doing so well now.
Though she didn’t find love within The Bachelor franchise, Jenna seems to be in a great relationship. Things didn’t work out between Jenna and Jordan, and maybe that’s for the best. Jenna has cultivated a wonderful family and she and Karl look ready to move on to the next stage in their relationship. After all she’s been through, Jenna certainly deserves happiness, and it seems as though she’s finally found it.
