Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile fell in love and became engaged on Bachelor In Paradise season 7, and the two recently shared that they have officially gotten married. Serena was a contestant on The Bachelor season 25 led by Matt James, while Joe appeared on The Bachelorette season 14 led by Becca Kufrin. Serena and Joe were both first day arrivals on the beach, and they immediately hit it off. While the couple faced several road blocks throughout their journey when Joe's ex-fiancée Kendall Long showed up to the beach, their love ultimately came out on top and they became engaged at the end of the season.

Serena recently shared a video on her Instagram account showing her and Joe officially tying the knot in a courthouse wedding ceremony. Serena captioned the video "JUST MARRIED" and wrote that this would be the first of two weddings for the couple. Serena explained that the couple would have a larger wedding in September 2023, but that she and Joe felt it was more fun to get married twice. In the video, Serena and Joe are seen dressed casually in the courthouse wearing masks, which caused some fans to think that this was a spontaneous decision for the couple.

Serena And Joe Are One Of Bachelor Nation's Most Successful Couples

Fans are not surprised to see Serena and Joe get married, as they are known to be one of the most successful couples in the franchise. While many Bachelor Nation couples do get engaged, most of the engagements end up being broken before a wedding can take place. An example of this would be Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian, who also got engaged on Bachelor In Paradise season 7 but later broke up. Many Bachelor Nation relationships do not end up working out in the real world, but Serena and Joe have proved to be an exception.

Many fellow Bachelor Nation stars were quick to congratulate Serena and Joe on their marriage. The Bachelorette season 19 lead Rachel Recchia wrote "oh my goodness congratulations." The Bachelor season 26 lead Clayton Echard also congratulated the couple commenting, "Congratulations!". Other Bachelor Nation alum to congratulate the new husband and wife included host Jesse Palmer, Nick Viall, Natasha Parker, Tia Booth, and Rachael Kirkconnell.

Bachelor In Paradise fans are thrilled to see Serena and Joe tie the knot as it gives them hope that future Bachelor Nation relationships will also be able to work out. While Serena and Joe did not succeed on their original journeys for love with Matt and Becca, their story shows that everything happens for a reason as it seems they were meant to find one another. Fans are now excited to see Serena and Joe's larger wedding in September.

Bachelor In Paradise airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
