Others were upset they got a date card when they did not need it. Twitter user Candace Gorczyca wrote that viewers watch Bachelor In Paradise for “the drama and unconventional love stories…” not for people like Jared and Ashley, who are already married. Bach Memes tweeted their disdain for the couple joining the season, saying they were like college kids showing up to a high school party.

Fans remember the love story between the now-married couple as one of the oddest in the show’s history. Jared and Ashley first appeared on paradise during BIP season 4 as singles looking for love. During their initial appearance on the show, Jared was focused on multiple other women, while Ashley only had eyes for Jared. Eventually, Jared settled down with Ashley, but BIP fans do not consider this couple the most remarkable example of contestants finding love in paradise. As they shared the screen in season 8, fans saw a brief glimpse into their lives as a married couple, but they were not impressed. Already the couple is being called boring for their fart jokes and commentary about urinating in the ocean. Fans were not too thrilled about their comments at the expense of their child.
