Although The Bachelor and The Bachelorette series have their fair share of drama, the spin-off show, Bachelor In Paradise, seems to be filled with even more chaos. Although it's a second chance for bachelor and bachelorette contestants to find love, the show is filled with love triangles, breakups, and drama starters. Unfortunately for the contestants on the show, viewers see a lot more of what's going on compared to the snippets people see on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. One wrong move can be enough to turn viewers off and turn the contestants into villains.

Whether it's a bad relationship, breaking paradise rules, or how a contestant portrays themselves on the show, there have been a few contestants that didn't create the best public image for themselves. These are some of the contestants that may have come to paradise for the wrong reasons.

Brendan Morais- Season 7

Brendan Morais was a fan favorite and sweetheart from Tayshia Adam's season of The Bachelorette that made it to the final four. After building a relationship with Tayshia and leading viewers to believe he could be the one, he ended up leaving the show before she could send him home. He couldn't see himself getting engaged, which seems a little bit suspicious looking back after his recent actions on the current season of Bachelor in Paradise.

He came on to Bachelor In Paradise along with the rumors of him seeing Pieper James back home, but denied it and started a relationship with Natasha Parker on the beach. Sure enough, Pieper shows up and he leaves Natasha, which clearly indicates that he was faking his feelings until Pieper arrived. He quickly lost his rank of being one of the most popular season 7 contestants.

Pieper James- Season 7

Pieper was on Matt James' season of The Bachelor but quickly became unlikable during her first few minutes on this season of Bachelor In Paradise when the Brendan and Peiper saga started. It was evident to viewers and other people on the beach that she and Brendan Morais had a relationship prior to the show, which defeats the purpose of coming to paradise, but clearly, they decided to go on the show anyway.

The fact that she arrived with the date card and chose Brendan for the date without talking to any of the other men raised a red flag for the other contestants. They were also seen and heard talking about gaining publicity and Instagram followers by being on the show, which was enough to rub people the wrong way.

Chris Conran- Season 7

After recent events that have taken place during the current season of Bachelor In Paradise, Chris Conran quickly became a target to other contestants and a villain to viewers. He was a sweet man who came from Tayshia Adams' season of The Bachelorette and started a genuine relationship with Jessenia Cruz on this season of Bachelor In Paradise. They were one of the strongest couples in the house until new ladies showed up on the beach, one being Alana Milne, who Chris was interested in.

Chris immediately left Jessenia to talk to Alana followed by a kiss with her, which lead him to tell Jessenia that something was missing with their relationship. He proceeded to kiss and dance with Alana all night in front of Jessenia, which left the other contestants and viewers surprised and disappointed with his actions.

Kirk Dewindt- Season 2

Kirk DeWindt was a sweetheart from Ali Fedotowsky's season who appeared on the second season of Bachelor In Paradise in hopes to have a second chance at finding love. Luckily, he did find love again with Carly Waddell in paradise. The couple remained one of the strongest couples throughout the show and made it to the very end.

However, when it was time to made final decisions about how the final relationships would move forward, he got cold feet and ended things, leaving Carly blindsided, as she was expecting a different outcome. As one of the strongest relationships on the show, viewers were shocked by his decision and it appeared to be disrespectful to Carly at the time.

Josh Murray- Season 3

Josh Murray was the final man standing and the one to propose to Andi Dorfman on her season of The Bachelorette, but they broke off their engagement after the show. When Josh appeared on Bachelor In Paradise, he found a connection with Amanda Stanton, and the two of them had one of the strongest relationships on the show.

While he was in paradise, Andi came out and said that he was emotionally abusive during their relationship. However, that didn't stop him from getting engaged to Amanda at the end of paradise. But, their relationship was short-lived. They broke off their engagement after paradise and according to ET News, Amanda ended their relationship because of his controlling behavior. Again, leaving Josh looking like a villain.

Chad Johnson- Season 3

Chas Johnson managed to dig himself a hole in season three of Bachelor In Paradise. He didn't have the best look coming on to the show after his immature behavior on Joelle Fletcher's season of The Bachelorette, and his appearance on Bachelor In Paradise didn't help him redeem himself.

Between excessive drinking and being aggressive and disrespectful towards other contestants, he was forced to leave paradise early.

Daniel Maguire- Season 4

Daniele Maguire didn't have the best public image from the start of his bachelor experience. He was very cocky on Joelle Fletcher's season of The Bachelorette and took that to paradise. He had a solid relationship with Lacey Mark and they left paradise together.

However, there was some miscommunication between the two of them when it came to where they stood in their relationship, Lacey being fully committed and Daniel saying otherwise, which came across as a red flag to viewers. It's safe to say they weren't one of the most memorable couples on the show.

Joe Bailey- Season 2

Joe Bailey broke the number one rule of paradise and entered the show with an established relationship before he got there. He used Juelia Kinney to get a rose so he could stay around until Samantha Steffen, who he already knew, arrived at the beach.

According to People, they had been talking for a month prior to filming the show which didn't look good for either of them, especially because he used another woman in the process.

Samantha Steffen- Season 2

Since it takes two to tango, Samantha Steffen didn't look too good for coming on the show after establishing a relationship with Joe Bailey either. The two of them were caught having conversations about meeting prior to the show and being disrespectful about the situation.

Ashlee Frazier- Season 1

Ashlee Frazier was known for her relationship with Graham Bunn and for being very protective over him on the show. Other girls at the beach didn't seem to like her and when she starting gossiping about Clare Crawley and her time on The Bachelor, it stirred up some drama and people started to see a different side of her.

Another contestant on the show warned Graham about Ashlee and the cattiness and drama was enough to turn him off and call it quits on their relationship. So, unfortunately, she came out looking like the bad guy.
