Clayton mentioned on a podcast that they were splitting up to chase their dreams, with Susie going to Los Angeles to further her career as a travel videographer and him back to Scottsdale, Arizona. Fans thought it was unusual that he wouldn't be going to LA with her, considering The Bachelor star moved from Arizona to be with Susie. Viewers of the show have taken to social media to point out how this out-of-the-blue announcement could be a slow move to a breakup for Clayton and Susie. Although Clayton said in the podcast that a long-distance relationship could be good for the couple based on previous experiences, it was not lost on the fans when he also admitted that the distance could affect the relationship negatively.
