Evan Bass, who has appeared on several Bachelor spin-off shows, plans on staying silent on social media amid his breakup from estranged wife, Carly Waddell. News broke of their impending divorce last month, which Carly later confirmed in a YouTube video.

The former couple originally met down on the beach in Mexico while filming Bachelor in Paradise. Evan pursed Carly very heavily, but she was not interested in him at first. After staying at the resort for so long, Carly eventually gave Evan another chance and the two quickly fell in love. By the end of the season, the pair was engaged and a year later were married at the same spot. Since then, Evan and Carly welcomed a daughter and son together. After three years of marriage and two adorable children, Evan and Carly decided this was the end of the road for them. Carly has shared her thoughts on the breakup via social media, but Evan has yet to say anything and he plans on keeping it that way.

According to Us Weekly, the 38-year-old has decided to stay away from social media, though he hasn't yet unfollowed his ex, after news broke of his and Carly's split. “Evan is much more private," a source revealed to the publication. “He is not going to go on social media to open up about what happened. Of course this has affected him and he’s trying to just move on and handle it privately.” Fans have been waiting to hear Evan's thoughts on the his breakup from his 35-year-old wife, but it seems he has decided to keep this area of his life offline for the most part. Carly, on the other hand, is coping with the separation by opening up to her fans on her YouTube channel and several Instagram posts. She has even alluded to some big plans for her future. Earlier in the month, she revealed her 2021 vision board in a vlog where she talked about finding true love again. Carly knows she will be able to find love again and isn't worried about finding it.

Although her relationship Evan has come to end, she is hopeful to find her person. Besides clapping back at a fan who left a negative comment on a photo he posted in June 2020, Evan has been low-key about the split on social media. “He’s keeping everything to himself and even telling those close to him to not talk about the split,” the source admitted. “In fact, he’s been avoiding social media and not really following everything that’s being posted.” Even Evan's ex-wife, Marie Bass, had some thoughts on Carly and Evan's breakup, revealing they actually separated in early 2019. Carly reassured her fans in a YouTube video that was not the case; she said they made the decision the day after Thanksgiving.

Evan hasn't shared a photo on Instagram since June 2020, six months after the news of their divorce was announced. Carly and Evan are clearly dealing with the divorce in different ways, as Carly seems to enjoy opening up about her feelings, while Evan prefers to keep the matter to himself.
