Marylynn Sienna, a contestant on The Bachelor, has already made a good impression on Matt James and landed herself in some drama. Here's everything you need to know about her outside of the show.
So far, Marylynn has shown that she's mature and well-spoken throughout her feud with Victoria Larson. Victoria's contentious personality rubbed everyone in the house the wrong way, but she specifically picked on Marylynn because she happens to be Victoria's roommate. Victoria also got Matt involved in the drama, and we have yet to see whether Victoria has affected Marylynn's chances with Matt. During the rose ceremony at the end of episode two, contestant Sarah Trott felt faint, which halted the ceremony. The end of the ceremony will be shown next week, revealing Marylynn's fate to fans.
Outside of the show, Marylynn is an event planner from Studio City, California. The 28-year-old is passionate about the environment, health, and Black Lives Matter. Her Bachelor bio from ABC says she "hopes to start a nonprofit that helps the environment reduce and eventually eradicate single-use plastic." Marylynn loves being outside and posts lots of beautiful nature photos on her Instagram. In one post, she wrote, "Without much regard or knowledge, we unsustainably deplete Earth of her very scarce natural resources. I've invested a lot of time into making my life greener, but there are always things I can do better." She is also an animal lover and noted in her ABC profile that she wants to own rescue dogs in the future. The event coordinator also has an acting career. Her IMDb page shows she has had small parts in a few series and films. Most recently, she landed a role in a film called Yellow River.
Marylynn's Bachelor profile tells us she knows what she wants when it comes to love. "She wants a stable man who will love her unconditionally, someone who is loyal to the core and who would be a rock for her when life throws the inevitable curve ball their way," her ABC profile reads. Other qualities important to Marylynn include health and hygiene, productivity, and shared goals. Marylynn shared on her Instagram that she was very excited to participate in Matt James' season. Besides being excited to meet Matt and get a chance at finding love, Marylynn also acknowledged this season was going to be historic. "This season is the first time the show features a black male lead in 25 shows!" she wrote. "I'm so proud to be a part of this very diverse cast and break down the boundaries necessary for more equality and acceptance." Marylynn has also been vocal about her support for the Black Lives Matter movement on social media.
