The Bachelor’s Cassie Randolph filed a restraining order against ex Colton Underwood for planting a tracking device on her car and harassing the 25-year-old over text. Colton Underwood first came to Bachelor Nation on Becca Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette before the former pro football player stole the hearts of fans and Bachelor producers, quickly becoming the next lead of the Bachelor franchise.  

His season brought us infamous drama, including his tumultuous relationship with California native Cassie Randolph. Bachelor Nation was on the edge of their seats as they watched Cassie leave the season on her own accord at the final three, causing an unprecedented reaction from Colton, including jumping a fence in Portugal while Chris Harrison chased him down in the middle of the night. The pair ended up reconciling after Colton sent home his remaining contestants, Tayshia Adams and Hannah Goodwin, so he could pursue Cassie outside of the show. All seemed rosy for the young couple as they shared their relationship with the world on Instagram, dating for almost two years until an unexpected breakup shocked fans.  Cassie’s appearance following the split on Bachelor Greatest Seasons—Ever! revealed cracks in their relationship when the former couple began feuding on Instagram. Cassie even went as far as to say that Colton was trying to monetize on their breakup.

The pair unfollowed each other on social media three months later, even after Colton claimed they were going to remain friends after the split. Now it seems the chaos is only getting worse as Cassie has recently filed a restraining order against Colton, citing domestic abuse prevention as the reason for the request. According to TMZ, the details of their messy breakup takes on a darker side as Cassie has also claimed that “Colton's been showing up uninvited to her L.A. apartment and parent's house in Huntington Beach. She claims he takes obsessive walks to her apartment complex and loitered in the alley outside her bedroom window at her parent's Huntington Beach house at 2 AM.”

Not only is Cassie claiming Colton is stalking her at her home, which the former Bachelor quarantined at not too long before the breakup, but TMZ obtained court docs stating that Colton has “been stalking and harassing her with unsettling text messages,” and planted “a tracking device taped to the bottom of the back bumper of her car to keep track of her whereabouts.” The accusations have even been confirmed by Colton himself as the docs reveal, “some of the harassing text messages included accusing her of hanging out with her old ex-boyfriend. She alleges Colton also sent anonymous text messages to her and to himself pretending to also be a victim of the anonymous stalker. Cassie claims Colton later admitted to sending the messages and planting the tracking device.”  

The details of this story get more unsettling with each passing minute. Although many were surprised at the circumstances surrounding their breakup, no one could’ve seen these unfortunate and shocking revelations come about in this love story gone incredibly wrong. Fans will have to await more details as this unfortunate story continues to unfold.
