On Monday night's episode of Dancing With the Starsa familiar face from Bachelor Nation appeared in the audience. Former Bachelor Colton Underwood attended this week's taping to show some loud and proud support for his ex, Hannah Brown. Even though their romance didn't work out, Underwood and Brown's friendly relationship means he's definitely rooting for her to dominate this season.

Underwood starred on the 23rd season of The Bachelor as the franchise's leading gentleman. Although he and Brown made it past the initial awkwardness of their relationship, Underwood sent her home during Week 7 eliminations. However, all was not lost for the former beauty queen, as Brown went on to become The BacheloretteAlthough her season ended in tragedy when she found out about ex-fiancé Jed Wyatt's troubled past, she's currently positioned to become a standout talent on this season of Dancing With the Stars.

According Colton's own Instagram post, he attended the September 23 taping primarily to offer support for Brown. Underwood has been dating Cassie Randolph since he famously jumped a fence for her at the end of his season. He attended the taping with Randolph and several other members of Bachelor Nation, most of whom appeared on Underwood's season. To capture the awkwardness of the situation, Underwood captioned his photo "I came to support my ex with my other [exes] and my girlfriend. Thanks for the support @chrisbharrison." Oh what a tangled web Bachelor Nation weaves.

Brown herself appeared to have nothing but fond memories of her time with Underwood. According to People, the Monday night taping also fell on the eve of Brown's birthday. To celebrate, she posted a throwback to a year prior, when she awkwardly stumbled through a speech on her first date with Underwood. "What a difference a year makes," the star wrote in her Stories. "Cheers to my birthday." She later posted a video celebrating a successful night will all the Bachelor alums in attendance.

While Brown may have finished her season heartbroken, Dancing With the Stars has given her a new opportunity to break out of her reality TV slump. Still, it's nice to see that she remembers her roots, and that she has plenty of support from the Bachelor Nation community. The relationship between Underwood and Brown may have been a failure, but their connection seems to have blossomed into quite the beautiful friendship.
