Former Bachelor lead Colton Underwood spoke out for the first time since his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Randolph, filed a restraining order against him. Apparently, she has decided to drop the order, including the police investigation.

Colton and Cassie met while filming season 14 of The Bachelor. From the beginning of the season, fans knew that Cassie was a front-runner and was mostly likely to get Colton's final rose. During the couples fantasy suite date, Cassie realized she was not ready to get engaged and left the show in the middle of their date. Colton was heartbroken by this, but did everything he could to win her back. Cassie accepted his final rose, but the couple did not end up getting engaged. They dated for over a year and half until their split back in May.

Colton told Us Weekly in a statement that Cassie has decided to drop the restraining order against him. “Today Cassie asked the court to dismiss the temporary restraining order against me,” the former football player told the publication. “The two of us were able to reach a private agreement to address any of Cassie’s concerns. I do not believe Cassie did anything wrong in filing for the restraining orders and also believe she acted in good faith. I appreciate everyone’s respect for privacy regarding this matter." According to TMZ, Cassie not only dropped the order, but also the police investigation she filed recently. Another interesting fact is that she dismissed the order with prejudice, meaning she can't refile it against him again. The 25-year-old filed the restraining order against her ex back in September, citing Domestic Violence prevention in her request for the filing. This begs the question, why did Cassie drop it altogether? This seems very curious as she not only filed a restraining order, but a police investigation as well. Hopefully, Cassie releases her statement soon regarding her side of the story.

Colton Underwood & Cassie Randolph

Cassie took legal action against Colton just four months after they called it quits. She shared the announcement to her Instagram, letting her fans know that while she and Colton may have broken up, they both have a lot of respect and for each other and plan to remain friends. Their friendship went awry after Cassie filmed an interview with Chris Harrison for The Bachelor: The Greatest Season Ever! and the 28-year-old did not seem to like the fact that their relationship was brought up. Cassie later accused Colton of trying to profit off of their relationship by adding a last minute chapter to his book. Of course Colton disputed these claims and told podcaster, Reality Steve, he wished her nothing but the best.

Now that the order has been dropped, hopefully Cassie can move on from this relationship and start a new chapter of her life free of Colton and his drama.
