The Bachelor alum Colton Underwood shared a sweet birthday tribute to his boyfriend, Jordan C. Brown, on Instagram. Colton started his Bachelor Nation journey on Becca Kufrin's season, where he was open about being a virgin. He later led his own season and chose Cassie Randolph at the end. Although the couple seemed happy, Cassie filed a restraining order against Colton for stalking her after their breakup. In an exclusive Good Morning America interview in April, Colton came out as gay. He also opened up and shared that he thought about taking his own life after being in such a dark place. Now, he's a lot happier.

Colton is currently dating political strategist Jordan C. Brown. The two have been featured on Colton's Instagram before, but they were officially spotted together while on vacation in Hawaii. Colton and Jordan were seen kissing and hanging out at the tropical vacation spot. It's possible that the reality star and his new beau were introduced through a mutual friend, Olympic skier Gus Kenworthy. Jordan has had a successful career and has been an advisor on numerous high-profile political campaigns. No matter what fans' views are on Colton, it looks like he and Jordan are very happy together.

Colton took to Instagram to share the birthday tribute. "Happy birthday to my dog loving... family man," Colton posted on his Instagram Stories (via E! Online). "Corn fed... love." The caption was featured across a collage of photos, one being the couple sitting next to each other with Jordan's arm around Colton, smiling at the camera. Another showed Jordan on the couch with two dogs next to him. The couple looked very happy in all the photos Colton shared.

Colton also has a new reality show on Netflix, called Coming Out Colton. The series details Colton's journey to coming out as gay. Ahead of the premiere, Colton shared an emotional message on Instagram. In the post, he said that he's now living life as who he's supposed to be, instead of hiding part of himself out of necessity. He wants to help other conservative men that are trapped in a life of inauthenticity through his show. Gus and NFL player Michael Sam, who are both gay, will be featured in the series. Michael was the first NFL player to come out as part of the LGBTQ community, and Colton is also a former football player.

Colton garners mixed reactions from fans because of his scandal with Cassie, so some people aren't too happy about the former Bachelor's Netflix show. However, it's a step in the right direction to show the coming out journey of someone who thought they had to conform to their conservative values. Especially since he was on The Bachelor, which doesn't feature too many LGBTQ people.
