In a recap of an interview with the iconic host of The Bachelor, TMZ revealed that Chris Harrison is content after leaving the franchise. In a controversial decision, Chris Harrison has been excluded from all of the shows included with the Bachelor franchise, including The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, and even Bachelor in Paradise after defending past being defending past racist actions by Rachael Kirkconnell. With plenty of conversation surrounding Matt James’ season, the confusion and offense ultimately led to Chris Harrison's quick, shocking absence from the series.

Rachael’s comment left fans divided. After it was revealed that Rachel partook in an Old South party in college, Bachelor Nation called her out on it. Some were upset by Rachael, while others saw Matt’s reaction as harsh and judgmental. Chris Harrison was quick to put in his opinion on the matters, siding with Rachael and being disrespectful to Rachel Lindsay when questioned about Rachael in an interview.

While Chris Harrison has remained out of the public eye after he was bribed to leave The Bachelor quietly, TMZ filmed Chris Harrison claiming to have very different opinions on the show and his time away from the small screen. According to the outlet, Chris Harrison has “processed it and let it go.” Even though his time on the show may have ended on a less than pleasant note, Chris Harrison claims that “he can have one of his crucial weekdays back to himself for once in nearly 20 years.” Despite many thinking of Chris Harrison to be angry about the series, Chris Harrison seems to be calm and collected in his opinions on both Matt and Rachael and the franchise. When asked about his parting thoughts on the couple, he said that “he wishes the couple all the best and it is water under the bridge.”

As the series moves forward with Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe as the hosts of the series, Chris Harrison is still missed by some in Bachelor Nation. The series has moved forward, and the hosts have brought something new to the show. The franchise has moved in a new direction, attempting to be more inclusive and sensitive to all of its fans.

Whether or not Chris Harrison has truly moved on after he was taken off The Bachelor, he seems to be enjoying his life off television. While what he said was wrong at the time, he has stayed out of the controversy since, and many former contestants still speak highly of him. The host's transition from the series to normal life was an abrupt one, but it sounds like everyone is getting used to the new situation and Chris isn't willing to speak poorly of the franchise in public.
