Bachelor Nation has brought up a number of reasons why Cassidy Timbrooks did not deserve the group date rose she received on The Bachelor season 26 episode 2. When Cassidy stepped out of the limo on night one, she and The Bachelor Clayton Echard seemed to click right away. After the limo entrances were done, Cassidy was able to steal Clayton away for a few moments of alone time. Her move seemed to have worked as the pair clearly connected that night and shared one of the first kisses of the season.

Despite Cassidy not receiving the first impression rose - which went to Teddi Wright - she did receive a rose at the first rose ceremony that closed out night one. The following day, a few of the women, including Cassidy, participated in the first group date of Clayton's season. She was very forward with Clayton the whole day but barely interacted with the other ladies. While Cassidy's assertiveness with Clayton got her a rose, it didn't bode well for her with the other women.

There is more than one reason as to why Clayton shouldn't have given Cassidy the group date rose. Firstly, while on the group date, Cassidy never had an actual conversation with the 28-year-old lead. Every time she pulled him aside, Cassidy went right in for a kiss and they just made out the whole time. If Cassidy was having a genuine conversation with Clayton, this may have been excused. But since Cassidy kept stealing him away, the other women had no time to speak with Clayton. While filming a group date on The Bachelor, it is understood that one should allow every woman on the date a chance to talk to the lead. If Cassidy, who is likely the villain now, has such a strong connection with Clayton, she should feel secure enough to give him a chance to speak with the other girls.

Not only did Cassidy barely give any of the other women a chance to speak to Clayton, but she also ignored them while on the group date. The task on the date was to create a dollhouse for a kid's birthday party, which Cassidy barely participated in. She was partnered with fellow contestant Gabby Windey, who was visibly upset about Cassidy leaving her to build the house by herself. Cassidy seems to only care about her time with Clayton, who isn't being a great Bachelor so far, and not anyone else. There is also the alleged man that Cassidy was supposedly FaceTiming right before she entered the limo to meet Clayton. All in all, Cassidy doesn't seem like she's ready for an engagement right now.

Cassidy didn't deserve the group date rose because she doesn't seem to be looking for a husband. Clayton is genuinely searching for a fiancée - and potential wife - to start his own family. From what fans have seen of her, Cassidy might not be the person Clayton is looking for.
