It was an alumni Memorial Day weekend for two stars of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette franchises. Matt James and his BFF, Tyler Cameron, dined and danced with their respective girlfriends at the Bounce Beach Montauk restaurant opening.
Matt and his girlfriend, Rachael Kirkconnell, along with Tyler and his girlfriend, Camila Kendra, had a weekend of merriment. It included socializing and having their pictures taken with the festive crowd.
E! Online reported that while Friday kicked off the fun, the foursome came back to the restaurant in the Hamptons the following day to attend a brunch hosted by the creators of Dos Hombres Mezcal tequila. The brand’s creators are the stars of Breaking Bad, Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul. Matt recently confirmed on a podcast that he and Rachael, the winner of The Bachelor’s final rose, had reunited. He also said their relationship moved forward after Rachael basically told him to step up and work on their relationship.
Early in Matt and Rachael’s relationship, racially insensitive pictures were released of Rachael attending an Antebellum-themed sorority soiree, which caused a snag in their coupledom. Their relationship gulf grew wider when Rachael didn’t understand why the pictures were problematic to Matt, who is biracial. Now that their relationship seems to be on sturdier ground, a person close to the couple said Rachael is considering moving from Georgia to New York City, where Matt is based. But the source also said they’re holding off on that decision to see how well their relationship progresses.
On the other side of the love relationship coin, everything is peachy with Tyler and his model girlfriend, Camila Kendra. Camila, who was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, is represented by the prestigious Elite Model Management agency and has worked with Rihanna on her Savage X Fenty campaign. Camila, who wants to be a doctor, studied biology at Florida Gulf Coast University. Tyler and Camila’s relationship continues to grow strong, and they’re inseparable. While former Bachelor Matt and Rachael model a life of forgiveness, it seems that Tyler, whose past relationships include Gigi Hadid and Ireland Borba, is living the model life.
