Baby Yoda breaks Jurassic Park in a new viral video. The Mandalorian character has unquestionably been the biggest surprise on the new Disney+ series, and although Star Wars fans instantly recognized the character, plenty of mystery still surrounds it.

With just over half of the first season of The Mandalorian having now been aired, fans are still in the dark about many things regarding this newest Yoda incarnation. As anyone who’s paid attention to the Star Wars franchise over the years can tell you, Yoda died of old age in 1983’s Return of the Jedi and aside from some brief (but exciting) appearances in the prequel films, the little green Jedi Master has only made a small cameo in The Last Jedi. There’s no question that the Baby Yoda we’ve been seeing in each of the episodes of The Mandalorian has a connection to the original Yoda’s species. As a result, theories ranging from cloning to Baby Yoda being the last of the species have all kept the internet buzzing since the release of the Disney series. While recent questions have shifted to whether or not the Mandalorian even knows who Yoda is, the internet has also kept busy with a seemingly never ending supply of memes dedicated to the newest Star Wars character.

As is to be expected, memes will continue to pop up as long as the character continues to capture the attention of audiences. The latest Baby Yoda online sensation blends Steven Spielberg’s iconic Jurassic Park with the young (and often mischievous) Yoda and comes to us courtesy of Adventure Collectibles’ Twitter account. The thirty-eight second video features one of the 1993 film’s most tense moments – when park creator John Hammond gives the very reluctant order to shut down Jurassic Park’s security structure. In the Adventure Collectibles edit, however, shutting down the doomed dinosaur park isn’t of interest to Baby Yoda, who raises the considerable ire of Samuel L. Jackson’s Arnold character by refusing to co-operate in the process. You can check out the well-made viral video in its entirety, below:

Fans of The Mandalorian will already be familiar with how much Baby Yoda enjoys touching the bright lights and various pieces of machinery inside the Mandalorian’s space craft. It appears that same degree of curiosity also translates just as well to this very serious moment in Jurassic Park, making it all the more hilarious. What’s more, Samuel L. Jackson’s reaction is priceless as we see Baby Yoda realize he’s crossed the line with his innocent tampering. Memes always have the ability to up the ante, so to speak, and this latest effort to put Baby Yoda into a very familiar scenario is sure to continue to inspire similar endeavours in the weeks to come.

With only three more episodes to go until The Mandalorian caps off its first season, there remains a certain degree of uncertainty as to whether or not fans will get the answers they crave regarding Baby Yoda. The Disney+ series has long since been preparing for a second season, which is a complete no-brainer thanks to its large degree of early success. Strangely enough, although the series is intended to focus on the Mandalorian, it often seems the real point of interest belongs entirely to Baby Yoda. It will certainly be interesting to see how things play out in the remaining episodes of the first season, as well as how series creator Jon Favreau handles both characters in future episodes. In the meantime, the memes will definitely continue to arrive.
