A new Buzzfeed video shows artists combining Baby Yoda from The Mandalorian with other beloved animated characters. Not long after The Mandalorian's debut on Disney+, Baby Yoda (referred to as The Child in Disney canon) became an Internet sensation thanks to his adorable appearance and his dynamic with the titular Mandalorian (Pedro Pascal). As Disney rushes to produce toys based on Baby Yoda, fans continue to pass Star Wars series' long hiatus by finding new ways to depict the precious little tyke.

In a new video from Buzzfeed, animators and cartoonists face off when they are tasked with combining Baby Yoda with other cartoon characters such as Shrek, Sonic, and Ursula from The Little Mermaid. Not surprisingly, the results are still pretty adorable, and some of them work far better than one would expect (See Baby Yoda/Skeletor). Check out the video below:

Baby Yoda was kept a secret in the lead up to The Mandalorian's premiere, a move that seems silly now considering his immense popularity. Baby Yoda has become so beloved that a scene involving a trooper (played by Jason Sudeikis) punching Baby Yoda led to fan outcry online. The Mandalorian will return for a second season this October, where Baby Yoda is expected to continue his story as the Mandalorian searches for a proper home for the powerful tiny being.

The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. The series follows the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.
